Cora Jade was the next NXT talent who attempted to capture the TNA Knockouts World Title. Unfortunately for Jade, she was not able to get the win over current and still champion Masha Slamovich. Slamovich’s first reign as champion continues at 140 days and counting.
The final moments of the match had Slamovich hit the Requiem for the win. NXT’s Arianna Grace was on commentary during the match. Commentary hinted at Tessa Blanchard being Slamovich’s next opponent.
Blanchard was in action herself as she defeated Lei Ying Lee with her Magnum finisher.
