Masha Slamovich Wins Monster’s Ball Main Event On IMPACT

Masha Slamovich has survived Pick Your Poison and continues her undefeated streak.

The September 29 episode of IMPACT was headlined by Pick Your Poison, where Jordynne Grace chose Allie Katch to face Masha Slamovich in a hellacious Monster’s Ball match. Prior to the match Slamovich and Katch wete kept isolated without food, water, or sleep for 24 hours.

The Knockouts held nothing back and put each other through torture with the use of a chain, a street sign, a trash can and lid, a wooden door, slams onto a chair, a table bump outside of the ring, plus tacks and cut up soda cans sprawled across the mat.

Allie Katch was resilient until the final blow – the Snowplow onto tacks and cans, which allowed Slamovich to score the pinfall victory. The win marked her second IMPACT main event and the first Monster’s Ball match for the Knockouts in nearly a year.

Elsewhere on the show, Mia Yim talked to Gia Miller about facing Mickie James at Bound For Glory. We saw footage of Yim vs. James from years ago on the indie scene when Yim first got her start. Gisele Shaw interrupted and claimed Yim wouldn’t be able to get the job done. We will now see Mia Yim take on Gisele Shaw next week just 24 hours before the pay-per-view.

In other backstage segments, Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka confronted Johnny Bravo for the first time since Taya exited the company in 2020. We also saw Rosemary seek out Father James Mitchell for advice on how to handle this new Taya/Jessicka pairing. The duo still have their sights set on the Knockouts Tag Team titles a week from Friday.
