ROH has done a phenomenal job at building up its women’s division. A tournament over the summer has crowned a new champion with a new lineage and Rok-C has every woman’s eye set on her newly won gold. Now we have matches set to determine who will face The Prodigy.
The champion made her way out to the ring on the most recent ROH TV to give a speech on her victory. The Prodigy explained how much this win means to her and having done it in front of her family and friends. She may just be 19 years old, but she emphasized that she has been working her entire life for this moment and that her win is far from cliche. She confirms that she will defend and retain the title against anyone, anywhere, any time, any place. The “C” in her name used to stand for confidence, but now it stands for champion.
The Allure interrupted the speech of the champion. Mandy Leon reminded Rok-C of the champions that came before her while Angelina Love said the “C” in Rok-C doesn’t stand for champion but something she can’t say on TV.
Out came more women with gold on their minds as Miranda Alize, Trish Adora, Willow, and Allysin Kay all join the rest in the ring. Maria Kanellis Bennett then emerged to give an announcement.
Between the six women who are vying for the gold, there will be two Three-way Matches with the winner of those two matches facing off the week before Final Battle. The winner of that one-on-one will become the number one contender to face Rok-C at Final Battle.
Willow, Angelina Love, and Miranda Alize will face off this weekend on ROH TV in the first Three-way match-up.
