OutSports has just finalized their top 200 Queer Wrestling Index (QWI) with numbers 20 to 1. And the top spot goes to “The Non-Binary Nightmare,” Max the Impaler.
Max is currently the NWA’s Women’s TV Champion and according to OutSports is the first out non-binary and transmasculine wrestler to win a championship in NWA’s 75 year history. They have also made pro wrestling history with their partner Heidi Howitzer as they became the first all-LGBTQ team to hold the Princess Tag Team belts for the Tokyo-Joshi Pro Wrestling promotion.
