It was announced back in July as the relationship has grown between STARDOM and NJPW that a women’s belt would be introduced. It was confirmed to come in November and it is being created by both promotions for the women to defend in not only Japan but the United States at NJPW events.
Now, a tournament has just taken place which brought us down to the two finalists – Mayu Iwatani and KAIRI. In the recent semi-finals, Iwatani defeated Utami Hayashishita while KAIRI defeated Alpha Female.
The two finalists will clash at NJPW x Stardom Historic X-Over event on Nov. 20.
