According to Square Circled Sirens, Japanese star, Meiko Satomura will join the WWE Performance Center as a guest trainer. Satomura has years of in-ring experience when she began training at the young age of 14.
The Japanese legend has worked with WWE in the past. She was a competitor in the second annual Mae Young Classic this past summer.
She did pretty well in the tournament making it to the semifinals, ultimately losing to eventual winner, Toni Storm. In the previous rounds, she defeated Killer Kelly, Lacey Lane, and Mercedes Martinez.
Prior to her stint in the Mae Young Classic, she wrestled all over the globe for Chikara, WCW, and Gae Japan, to name a few promotions. Satomura has also wrestled for Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling which she co-founded with male professional wrestler Jinsei Shinzaki.
WWE frequently brings in talent all over the world to play the part of guest trainers for their students. In the past, they have brought in Serena Deeb, Sarita, Lance Storm and Shawn Michaeals. Meiko Satomura will bring years of experience in Japanese strong style and she should make a huge impact for those at the Performance Center.
