A dream match for many is set for this Wednesday’s Dynamite. On Saturday’s Collision, the ROH Women’s World Champion Athena defeated Harley Cameron to advance to the semi-finals of this year’s Owen Hart Cup. There, she will challenge the TBS Champion, Mercedes Moné. The two highly decorated women have never met in a one-on-one match.
Moné had a response to Athena’s win and their upcoming match in her hometown of Boston.
Also, Jamie Hayter defeated Billie Starkz to advance to the semi-finals on the other side of the brackets. This match was very good! Hayter won off of a backbreaker followed by the Hayterade. Hayter will face Kris Statlander in the semi-finals on a future date.
Timeless Toni Storm had a pre-taped backstage promo where she addressed the remaining members in the tournament (at the start of Collision). The winner of the Owen Hart Cup will challenge Storm at All In.
Lastly, Megan Bayne w/Penelope Ford was in action in a 2-on-1 match. She made quick work of LMK and Kelly Madan.
