Mercedes Moné is looking to become a three belt champion as she will be facing Mina Shirakawa at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on Jan. 5. Both Moné’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Title and Shirakawa’s RevPro British Women’s Title will be on the line in a Title vs. Title match.
Moné defended the STRONG Women’s Title on Dec. 15 at a NJPW event Strong Style Evolved in a match against STARDOM’s Hazuki. The match was a 27 minute affair.
Post match, Shirakawa entered the ring. Moné wants Shirakawa to hang onto the RevPro title so that she can have a shot at it in the Tokyo Dome.
Shirakawa also wrestled at the Strong Style Evolved event defeating Johnnie Robbie
At Wrestle Dynasty will also be the International Women’s Cup. We know so far in that match will be Willow Nightingale vs. Athena vs. Persephone. We are waiting to find out who the STARDOM representative will be in this four-way.
