Michelle McCool Confirmed For 2025 WWE Hall of Fame

Former multi-time WWE Women’s and inaugural Divas Champion Michelle McCool has officially been announced for this year’s Hall of Fame class.

McCool first came to WWE in the 2004 Diva Search which was won by Christy Hemme. She still was offered a multi-year WWE contract.

After a bit in Deep South Wrestling developmental, McCool debuted on the main roster in 2006 as a “sexy teacher” gimmick. Her first feud was alongside Kristal Marshall against Ashley Massaro and Jillian Hall. She would go on to have an “All-American Diva” gimmick followed by her partnership with Layla as LayCool.

McCool would go on to win the WWE Women’s Championship twice. Once defeating Melina and again from Mickie James. She is also the inaugural Divas Champion by defeating Natalya in 2008. She won it a second time from Melina in 2010.

Her most memorable feud may be alongside Layla against Mickie James. This was controversial “Piggy James” storyline.

McCool retired in 2011 after a near seven year long career. She has returned multiple times in the Women’s Royal Rumble since 2018.

Congratulations to Michelle McCool from everyone at Diva Dirt!
