The NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championships, founded in 1952 are the first women’s tag titles in wrestling history. Last held by Princess Victoria and Velvet McIntyre before getting deactivated in 1984.

Princess Victoria and McIntyre ended up being the first WWF Women’s Tag Team Champions due to still holding onto the belts when WWF withdrew from the NWA.

NWA first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view EmPowerrr is shaping up to be one must-see show.

The talent seen on the show could be from other promotions if the latest report is anything to go by. Fightful Select is reporting that Kylie Rae’s deal with NWA solidified the relationship between the promotion and IMPACT Wrestling. The latter is “really excited to have worked with another company” and indicated “that there could be further talent hopping between the two companies in the coming months”.
