IMPACT’s Slammiversary is just around the corner and on June 19 a first will take place for the Knockouts. With this event, IMPACT! is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.
A Queen of the Mountain Match will take place where the Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz will defend her title against four former champions. Those included in the match will be Jordynne Grace, Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, and Deonna Purrazzo. It has been confirmed today that Mickie James will be returning as the Special Guest Enforcer for the match.
James was last in an IMPACT ring on April 1 when she participated in the intergender match at Multiverse of Matches. She alongside her husband Nick Aldis defeated Chelsea Green & Matt Cardona. This started to brew up a rivalry between James and Green that has not culminated. Since then she has appeared in a few taped matches for NWA.
At the time of this writing, this is the only Knockouts match set for Slammiversary but more are expected.
