On this week’s episode of IMPACT, the Knockouts World Champion Mickie James addressed the Knockouts locker room. She praised her fellow competitors and brought up her future Saturday appearance for the WWE Royal Rumble match.
James boasts how she will be entering the Rumble match with a championship that does not belong to WWE. She declares that when she wins the Royal Rumble she will be defending her Knockouts World Title at WrestleMania in a Title vs. Title match to see just who the best in the world is.
Chelsea Green joined the conversation who wanted to have the first shot at the Knockouts Title once Mickie is done in the Rumble. She was interrupted by Tasha Steelz who is the number one contender because she holds the victory from the Ultimate X match at Hard to Kill.
Steelz will be facing James at No Surrender on Feb. 19.
Other happenings from this week’s IMPACT involved The IInspiration defeating the team of Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K. The match was scheduled to be for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles, however, Tenille Dashwood couldn’t make the tapings. Cassie Lee gets the pin on Kaleb after hitting him with a sunset flip.
Backstage we saw Jordynne Grace accept Matt Cardona’s challenge for the Digital Media Title.
