Mickie James became a four-time Knockouts Champion over last weekend at IMPACT’s Bound for Glory event. She defeated Deonna Purrazzo who was well on her way to a full year as champion but that dream was cut just short at 343-days.
IMPACT has confirmed that the new champion will be in the IMPACT Zone this Thursday on Oct. 28 to address the fans. It has not been officially announced at this time who will first challenge the new champion moving forward. Mercedes Martinez does have a future title shot looming after winning the opportunity from her Knockouts Knockdown Tournament win.
At this time, James’ appearance is the only Knockouts segment confirmed for this Thursday. However, with the fallout from Bound for Glory, there is a lot of possibilities.
We have new Knockouts Tag Team Champions as the debut of The IInspiration won themselves gold right away after defeating Decay. There was also a new intergender championship introduced as Jordynne Grace became the inaugural Digital Media Champion.
