Mickie James had a highly anticipated match against Asuka for the RAW Women’s Title this week on RAW. The match had all eyes on it as Jame was going for her seventh title in WWE which she has been wanting for quite some time. The match itself was on par to be a good one, that is, up until the end.
The ending of the match was ruled in favor of Asuka. The referee stated that after being put into the Asuka Lock, James could no longer continue. Asuka retained her title, but why did this happen? That is what isn’t fully clear.
Without seeing James tap out, everyone was wondering what was the reason the bell rang. Was James injured? Did the referee just mistake it that James tapped or quit?
James has taken to her Twitter to confirm that she will address this on tomorrow’s episode of The Bump. She will be on the show with her greatest rival and Hall of Famer – Trish Stratus.
She responded to Stratus’ tweet about their appearance and also about their WWE Timeline episode that is about to air on the WWE Network.
The Bump streams tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 10 a.m. EST on social media platforms.
