This past weekend, Mickie James added another championship to her long list of accomplishments.
Mickie, the only woman to hold the WWE Women’s Championship, Divas Championship and Knockouts Championship, became Maryland Championship Wrestling’s new Women’s Champion by defeating Amber Rodriquez in the main event of MCW’s Ladies Night event.
The match was refereed by former Diva and Knockout Lisa Marie Varon, who hit a Widow’s Peak post-match on fellow former Diva Melina:

Mickie has competed regularly on the indy circuit since giving birth last fall, but has yet to wrestle in a TNA ring since making her return. Her recent TNA storyline saw her agree to wrestle one more match, but a storyline injury may have made that impossible.
