If reports are correct, then NXT UK has added another great talent, Millie McKenzie to their growing women’s division. According to Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT, McKenzie has signed with the company and set for a feud with recent signee, Meiko Satomura.
McKenzie appeared for NXT UK in 2018 for three matches, one of which participated in the NXT UK Women’s Championship Tournament.
McKenzie is a well-known figure on the British wrestling scene, appearing for multiple promotions over the last several years. She was a regular for PROGRESS, who return for their first show since February 23rd 2020. McKenzie returns to PROGRESS to face Mercedez Blaze on the show, which airs on February 20th.
McKenzie was a vital voice in the Speaking Out movement that shook the British wrestling scene to its core. The movement exposed the awful sexual, physical, and emotional abuse within the wrestling industry. McKenzie spoke out about her abusive relationship with Travis Banks. Banks has since been released from WWE and its NXT UK brand.
