The path towards the ROH Women’s Tournament for the new ROH Women’s World Championship is moving right along. The tournament is coming up this summer and has yet to have an official date.
This week on Women’s Division Wednesday, Trish Adora took on Miranda Alize with both ladies hoping to get a golden ticket to enter the tournament.
Alize gets a big win over Adora in a match that could have easily gone to either woman.
After the match, Maria Kanellis-Bennett took to zoom in order to speak with Alize, congratulate her on her win, and grant her a ticket to gold. Adora then gets a call and Maria gives her a ticket as well. Both women will be in the upcoming tournament for the new ROH Women’s World Championship!!
Already entered are Rok-C who received her golden ticket last week and Angelina Love who has earned a bye in the first round by defeating Quinn McKay. Rok-C had a tag team match on the first Women’s Division Wednesday in which she teamed up with Max the Impaler. They faced Laynie Luck and Hyan and the match ended up in a draw as it reached its 15-minute time limit.
Last week, we witnessed former champion and ROH veteran Sumie Sakai defeat Vita Vonstarr. At the time of this writing, neither woman has been announced to have received a golden ticket as of yet.
