This week’s Featherweight Women’s Division on MLW Fusion ALPHA had an entertaining tag team bout between The Sea Stars vs. Willow Nightingale & Zoey Skye.
This would mark The Sea Stars’ first tag match in the promotion [they have worked in singles matches] and the debut of Skye. Nightingale and Skye had their work cut out for them as a makeshift team going against the sister team who know each other so well.
After Skye becomes the legal competitor for her team, all four women remained in the ring. As Willow had Ashely Vox on her shoulders, there was a counter that knocked her out of the ring. With Willow trying to make it to her feet, her upcoming War Chamber opponent, Holidead, emerged from outside of the ring. Holidead would go on the attack and drag Willow under the ring thus leaving Skye all by herself. This is a follow-up to Holidead’s attack on Nightingale on the ramp last week.
Skye would fall victim to the Tidal Wave and Vox would get the win for the Sea Stars. Skye may have lost her debut in tag team action, but over the weekend she became SHIMMER Champion when she defeated Kimber Lee at SHIMMER Vol. 120.
After the match, Willow would emerge out from under the ring. Skye and the Sea Stars would help her up and to the back showing concern from Holidead’s attack.

The War Chamber event will be taped this weekend on Nov. 6 and will feature two women’s matches. The aforementioned Willow Nightingale vs. Holidead along with The Sea Stars vs. the debuting Top Dogs (Davienne & Skylar).
