MLW is ready to ramp up its women’s division by crowning its first Women’s Featherweight Champion. The promotion confirmed that the championship belt is currently being designed.
In September, MLW confirmed it was launching its women’s featherweight division and brought in SHIMMER founder Dave Prazak to spearhead the division. Since then, women were seen weekly on MLW programming through the rest of 2021.
Many talents from SHIMMER have appeared with the promotion including The SeaStars (Delmi Exo & Ashley Vox), Brittany Blake, Holidead, Willow Nightingale, Nicole Savoy, and the current SHIMMER Champion Zoey Skye.
At MLW’s Blood & Thunder pay-per-view event in January, Rok-C and Miranda Gordy made their debut with the promotion. Gordy took the win in this exchange.
