Today, we’re going back to 2013, when AJ Lee defended the Divas Championship against Kaitlyn.
AJ had just won the title from Kaitlyn at Payback, mind games allowing her to take down her former best friend. Kaitlyn tried to shake off AJ’s mental trickery and focus on regaining her belt, but she just couldn’t swing it. She’d fall prey to AJ’s Black Widow, tapping out to the submission hold for the second PPV in a row. This would be just the beginning of AJ’s time as champ, as she would go on to break the record for longest Divas Title reign.
