The official NXT (previously FCW) website has now added a profile for mysterious newcomer, Anya, revealing more details about her background.
Diva Dirt broke the news of her joining WWE a few weeks ago when one of our reporters spotted her at an FCW show.
Few details were available about the Russian-born fledgling Diva at the time, but according to her official NXT profile, Anya, from Voronezh, Russia, moved to the US last year and has plenty of experience in combat sport, particularly kickboxing.
Upon researching further into her background, it appears Anya’s real name is Anna Bogomazova and she is a champion kickboxer, placing second in the Kickboxing World Championship in 2006 and 2008, and first in 2011. She also holds a black belt in Taekwondo.
As well as her impressive background in sports, she is also a qualified lawyer with a degree from the Voronezh Cooperative Institute in Russia.
