A SmackDown Women’s Championship match has been set for next week. After the persistent nature of Sonya Deville, the champion Charlotte Flair informed Adam Pearce that she will let her have a title match.
On this week’s SmackDown, it was shown that earlier in the day during Flair’s interview with Ryan Satin on Out of Character, Deville showed up to continue to get under the skin of Flair. Pearce granted Flair her wish despite Deville being in the back of the line and not earning another title shot. The match will take place next week on SmackDown – Feb. 3.
Five more names were added to this Saturday’s Royal Rumble match. Going into this week’s SmackDown there were only seven women confirmed, we are now at 12. There were two WWE Exclusives aired that showed all three members of Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) and Xia Li have been added. The twelfth name was Lacey Evans who added her name to the match after defeating indie talent Jazmin Allure.
These five names will be added to the previously announced seven – Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Zelina Vega, Emma, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and Candice LeRae.
