The field is almost full as two more women qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.
On the Feb. 16 episode of SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton defeated Zelina Vega in the first Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match, pinning her after a PME. This match was relatively good considering these two never met in the ring before. Elektra Lopez and Legado del Fantasma were in the crowd to taunt Vega.
Naomi qualified later in the night, defeating Alba Fyre by submission. This was Naomi’s first official match back on SmackDown in nearly two years. She was presented with new music.
Startton and Naomi join the field to include Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Liv Morgan. The star studded group will find out who their sixth and final opponent is for the chamber on this Monday’s Raw in a last chance Battle Royal.
After Stratton qualified, she had a confrontation backstage with Belair and Morgan. This was in the same conference room that General Manager Nick Aldis was presenting contracts to Jade Cargill and Bron Breakker. Aldis confirmed Breakker signed with SmackDown but did not confirm Cargill.
A video promo aired for Damage CTRL. The Women’s Champion IYO SKY says that the faction may have been her idea but it was the members that made them what they are and won championships. SKY says it is her era and she will embarrass Bayley at WrestleMania.
Asuka and Kairi Sane warn Dakota Kai to sleep with one eye open. Later in the night, Kai approached Bayley backstage to address what Damage CTRL said.
Michin was in a backstage segment as tensions continue to boil over for The OC.
