On SmackDown LowDown, Naomi was interviewed by Byron Saxton about her upcoming championship match. The last time Naomi went for the WWE Women’s Title was when her friend Bayley held it during the Backlash premium live event in May. This was also a Triple Threat that had included Tiffany Stratton.
During the interview, Naomi said she is ready to bully the bully next week. She has pinned Jax before and is ready to do it again. On this week’s SmackDown, Naomi showed up to neutralize Candice LeRae and help out the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill as they faced Jax and Stratton. Belair and Cargill joined Naomi during the SmackDown LowDown interview and invited her to Raw on Monday. They take on Raquel Rodriguez and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Also on SmackDown LowDown, Saxton interviewed Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. The talk of the night was about the new WWE Women’s United States Championship. The duo certainly differed on who should become the inaugural champion. When asked by Saxton, they both said “me” when referring to who the new title would look great around.
Green tried to brush it off and said what’s hers is hers and what Niven’s is also hers. This led to a confused face on Niven before the two walked away.
Lastly, B-Fab throws her name in the hat to become the first Women’s United States Champion. The Street Profits are ready to become tag team champions next year after a four year drought. Tag Titles or bust says Montez Ford. But, B-Fab also wants gold so the three of them will be dripping in it.
