Natalya Talks Cars, Fender Benders & ‘Total Divas’ With MotorTrend.com

Natalya is doing her part to promote Total Divas, talking to MotorTrend.com about her first car, her first fender bender and the car she thinks is a perfect 10.

The car she uses every day (aside from on-the-road rentals) is a 2011 Volkswagen CC, which she rates a “10 out of 10”, telling the site, “”It’s the perfect car for being practical but also being luxurious.”

She also shares that her first car–a 1979 Cadillac Eldorado–was a hand me down from her grandfather, wrestling legend Stu Hart. She says, “My grandfather had an obsession with Cadillacs, so he gave me his old Cadillac when I was 16 and I was so honored.”

As for learning to drive, she didn’t have the greatest instructor: “”My uncle Ross taught me how to parallel park. He’s a teacher in Calgary. He’s better at teaching math than he is at teaching how to parallel park.”

She bought her first car after saving up her waitressing paychecks, buying a 2000 Dodge Neon. She tells Motor Trend, “I was so excited to buy that car and it was my first purchase of anything. And that was where my first car accident happened. A week after buying that brand new, right-off-the-showroom Dodge Neon, I had a little bumper-to-bumper fender bender. It was not a pretty sight, but I ended up accidentally bumping into a monster truck.”

Ouch! Hopefully she’s had more luck these days, with all the rentals she drives.

The interview wasn’t all automobiles. In fact, she bared her soul a bit, sharing something about her relationship with new husband Tyson Kidd: “He’s been the only person I’ve ever dated or been with. I’ve known him since I was a kid. He’s actually one of the people that also taught me how to wrestle.”

Aw! We can’t wait to see the wedding. You can read the full interview on MotorTrend.com.

What do you think about Natalya’s taste in cars?
