Money in the Bank is only a week away from Sunday and although Natalya will not partake in this year’s match, she has her thoughts on who should win. She spoke on this during her column for the Calgary Sun. Nattie explained how she hopes that Dana Brooke takes this year’s briefcase.
“Dana hasn’t taken ‘no’ for an answer in fighting for her dreams. To see her grab the briefcase amongst some of the toughest women in WWE and then cash in and win a WWE Women’s Championship, would be nothing short of amazing.”
Brooke qualified for MITB after defeating Naomi which was a surprise to many. Naomi is generally a shoe-in for this type of match. This will be Brooke’s second year in a row participating in MITB.
Women started partaking in this style of a match in 2017 and Nattie has participated in all of them leading up to this year. The women who will be in this year’s match other than Brooke are Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Asuka, and Lacey Evans.
The final spot is set to be filled tonight and will be either Carmella or Mandy Rose. Carmella won the first-ever female MITB ladder match and then had to win a subsequent second one after a re-match was mandatory on SmackDown.
