New Champions Crowned, Taylor Wilde Returns At IMPACT Bound For Glory

IMPACT Wrestling’s 2022 Bound For Glory pay-per-view is in the books, and it was a notable night for the Knockouts division.

In the second match on the card, Mickie James defeated Mia Yim to continue The Last Rodeo. At one point, Mickie kissed Mia on the top rope to play more mind games. Yim ultimately fell to defeat thanks to the MickDT.

Right after that, VXT defended the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship against The Death Dollz in Jessicka and Taya Valkyrie. The crowd was heavily behind Death Dollz, which worked in their favor as Jessicka put Chelsea Green away with the Sick Driver for the win. Jessicka and Valkyrie are now in their first tag title reign together, but each have held it previously with Rosemary.

Five Knockouts took part in the 20-person Call Your Shot gauntlet match, including a returning Taylor Wilde. Tasha Steelz eliminated Killer Kelly and Savannah Evans together. Tasha’s time in the bout came to an end at the hands of Bully Ray. Wilde and Gisele Shaw were then double eliminated by Matt Cardona. Bully Ray went on to win the bout.

In the semi-main event of the evening, Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace tore each other up with the Knockouts World Championship on the line. Many nearfalls were featured as the women punished each other at every turn. It was ultimately a Grace Driver from the top rope that sealed the deal for Jordynne Grace to end Slamovich’s undefeated streak.
