NXT rebranded as NXT 2.0 two weeks ago and so far we are seeing a barrage of new talent come across our screens. Perhaps the most we have seen in a very long time.
As the WWE Performance Center recruits move towards their on-screen personas, we often get new ring names. Whether it be a change in a ring name we already knew or simply a new name for a brand new face to the wrestling industry. This past week we formally met Anriel Howard who is now known as Lash Legend. She will be debuting next week her new talk show, ‘Lashing out with Lash Legend.’
Some new names based on social media changes are as follows:
Jennifer Michell Cantu Iglesias is now known as Yulisa Leon
Jessica Woynilko is now known as Tiffany Stratton
Sanjana George is now known as Vish Kanya
Leon and Kanya were signed in April of this year [along with Sarray and Persia Pirotta] while Stratton was just last month.
Both Leon and Stratton were shown for the first time on-screen on Tuesday’s NXT. They were walking into the building in a segment with Xyon Quinn.
The upcoming Sept. 28 episode of NXT is being advertised as “all about the ladies” as several matches and segments have already been confirmed.
