In a sad piece of news, several outlets are reporting that Christy Hemme will soon return to television — but as a backstage interviewer for TNA rather than as an active competitor. The reason for this is because Hemme’s neck is supposedly in bad shape.
Christy injured her neck while training in January 2009 and made her return in the summer after having surgery. Unfortunately, it seems like she is once again having problems with her neck, which will likely be a chronic issue throughout her career. One has to wonder if Hemme will ever return to the ring but it’s nice to see TNA sticking by her and finding her another position within the company. Our best wishes to Christy.
