News in Brief: Rhia O’Reilly Added to SHIMMER, Fourth Name Announced for PWWA Tournament & More

Diva Dirt is back with another fix of news, notes and tidbits in the world of women’s wrestling. Check it out below:

The next name added to SHIMMER is none other than “The Fighting Irish” Rhia O’Reilly.

A graduate of Lance Storm’s Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, O’Reilly is currently a part of both the Pro-Wrestling: EVE and World Association of Women’s Wrestling rosters on events in the United Kingdom.

She made her pre-show SPARKLE debut in early 2011 and will make her SHIMMER main show/DVD debut at this weekend’s set of tapings.

PWWA has announced that the fourth name signed for their tournament to crown an Interim Champion in Madison Eagles‘ absence is Sydney’s Shazza McKenzie.

Shazza, whom has been in Philadelphia training with the likes of ROH and CHIKARA, will make her SHIMMER debut this weekend.

She most recently wrestled for Wrestling Is Fun! on March 10 in Allentown, PA, in a loss to fellow Aussie Jack Bonza.

She joins previously announced talent Evie, Jessie McKay and Kellie Skater.

During a CMLL house show on March 11 at the Arena Coliseo, Amapola, La Comandante and Tiffany defeated Dallys la Caribena, Goya Kong and now former CMLL Femenil Champion, Ayumi Kurihara.
