On Friday, it was stated that SmackDown’s Blair Davenport was backstage at TNA Emergence. She did not make an appearance on the show and it was unknown if she was only there to support her husband NXT’s Riley Osborne who was in the Ultimate X match.
TNA is holding tapings tonight which Davenport may still be apart of if that is the plan. However, two other NXT names, Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace are also backstage according to Fightful Select.
The report states –
The NXT and TNA partnership continues.
More NXT names are backstage at tonight’s TNA tapings in Louisville, Kentucky. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Arianna Grace and Karmen Petrovic are both at Old Paristown Hall, where the show is being held.
Arianna hasn’t competed since July 9, when she actually face Petrovic after the two had a brief, but successful team. Grace is the daughter of Santino Marella, who is an on-screen authority figure for TNA. Karmen appears on NXT regularly, and has won all of her singles matches since July 9, while losing all of her tag team matches in that time.
We aren’t sure if or how either will be used on TNA TV.
Fightful Select also reported that Smackdown talent Blair Davenport was backstage at TNA Emergence to support Riley Osborne. We’re told the TNA/NXT partnership is expected to continue well beyond this.
Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace is said to be having another open challenge at the tapings.
Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill are now two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They have regained the titles from the women who took the belts from them Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre. The win took place on Saturday at Bash in Berlin. This ends Fyre & Dawn’s reign at 77 days after three successful defenses.
With a match that was heavy on the offense dor Fyre & Dawn early on would turn into a war of trying to neutralize one member from each team. Eventually, Cargill did just that by taking Fyre out on the outside by driving her into the barricade. Cargill pinned Dawn to win the titles after her and Belair executed their finisher.
Mercedes Moné has successfully defended the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title for the first time. This took place Friday evening at the NJPW Capital Collision event in Washington, DC.
In her first match back in a solo NJPW event since May 2023, Moné fought hard in a near 20 minute main event to retain against Momo Watanabe. Moné won the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title in June at the NJPW x AEW Forbidden Door event from Stephanie Vaquer. This title was originally created with Moné in mind but she was injured in the finals and Willow Nightingale became the inaugural champ.
Moné used her Moné Maker on Watanabe to secure the victory.
Other results include:
HANAKO & Mina Shirakawa def. Trish Adora & Viva Van
Friday Night SmackDown took a trip overseas to Berlin, Germany where Bash in Berlin will be taking place tomorrow afternoon.
To begin was a shot of Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton entering the Uber Arena, the site of both SmackDown and Bash in Berlin.
A vignette for Nia Jax aired following the first match, set to the tune of “Mud” by Dorothy. The vignette featured footage of Nia over the years, emphasizing her dominance and physical strength as well as her recent achievements of winning both Queen of the Ring as well as the Women’s Championship.
As always, Elektra Lopez and Santos Escobar of Legado del Fantasma accompanied Angel and Berto (now known as “Los Garza”) for a tag team match against Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin. Lopez got on the apron to try and distract the referee, which initially appeared to be unsuccessful until Angel was able to take Crews’s concentration away from Berto and allowing them to hit their MTY finisher – named after the Mexican city of Monterrey – for the victory.
9:37pm Eastern Time and it was time for our main event between Nia Jax and Michin for the Women’s Championship in a Street Fight!
But before that could happen, a Progressive Match Flo recap aired showing The Unholy Union winning the Women’s Tag Team Championships from Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at Clash at the Castle two months ago. To Bianca, this was more than a match. She understands how it feels for Jade to come with high expectations. To Jade, she knows the feeling of being unstoppable and making headlines. But then, as things keep going wrong for the team, they start questioning and doubting themselves, but failure is a part of the process. The fight is not in the ring, but rather in one’s mind and one’s heart. The two are ready to go and regain the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Michin is then shown backstage, telling the WWE Universe that she has fought her whole life – every battle, every war, has all led her to Berlin. You can like her or you can hate her, but after she becomes the new Women’s Champion tonight, you will not forget her. “Michin” is not who Mia Yim is, it’s what she is. She makes her way out to the ring for the street fight with a shopping cart of weapons.
Michin starts by hitting the queen with a kendo stick, gaining the upper hand rather quickly. Bringing a table out from under the ring gets the crowd excited, but the kendo stick is used against her by Jax. She reverses and brings out the table again, but the show goes to commercial. Once the show returns, the champ puts the table in a corner of the ring, but gets blinded by a fire extinguisher for her troubles, and a missile dropkick coupled with some trash can lids keeps her down, but not down enough as Jax kicks out at two. Jax regains some composure, but finally gets put through the table!
“Table Time” quickly turned into the familiar voice of “It’s Tiffy Time!” as Tiffany Stratton made her way to out to presumably cash in her Money in the Bank contract, hitting Michin with the briefcase, and contemplating pinning Nia, but instead drags her friend’s body to try and pin Michin, but when she kicks out, Stratton attempts to hit the Prettiest Moonsault, an attempt stopped by the returning Bayley. The two fight outside the ring, while Jax covers Michin’s face with a trash can and hits an Annihilator on her for the victory. Jax is still feeling aggressive and hits a few more shots onto the can after being declared the winner, before the show goes off the air.

A four way women’s match has been added for the Aug. 31 episode of AEW Collision. The participants are Hikaru Shida vs. Queen Aminata vs. Serena Deeb vs. Thunder Rosa.
Aminata, who is a regular on ROH, will be returning to an AEW ring for the first time since June on Rampage where she defeated Skye Blue.
Deeb also hasn’t been on AEW since June.
On the Aug. 30 episode of Rampage, Nyla Rose was in action with Aminah Belmont in a quick squash match win. Mina Shirakawa was also in action as she defeated Missa Kate in just over three minutes.
Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlnder respond to the Street Fight stipulation CMLL Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale has produced.
Alisha Edwards was injured early on during the six woman tag team match at TNA Emergence on Friday evening.
Edwards, who is one-half of the TNA Knockouts World Champions, teamed up with her partner Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance to take on TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna).
Threat hit a flip dive to the outside on Edwards’ team which when Edwards bumped down, she appeared to hit her head on the floor. Threat and Luna attempted to get Edwards back up but she wasn’t budging. Grace came out to assist but seemed to be checking on Edwards as the official and medical came in as well.
The report is that Edwards was removed from the match and helped backstage. PWInsider is reporting it to likely be a concussion while Sean Rosa Sapp of Fightful states he has heard she is doing okay.
Grace will continue her open challenges as champion on the next episode of TNA. The champion has issued open challenges recently which have been answered by Rosemary, NXT’s Tatum Paxley, and NXT’s Izzi Dame.
Steph De Lander will also be on TNA this Thursday as she confronts Matt Cardona.
At the time of this writing, TNA is currently holding their Emergence event.
According to a report by Fightful Select, SmackDown’s Blair Davenport is backstage. Her being there is unknown if she will be used on screen, but she is accompanying her husband, NXT’s Riley Osborne who is booked in the Ultimate X match.
Per the report –
Though Blair Davenport has been a member of the Smackdown roster for months, she was not brought overseas for the European tour. She wasn’t used today on Smackdown, and for good reason — she’s at today’s TNA Emergence in Louisville, Kentucky.
We’re told Davenport was backstage speaking with wrestlers and was with Riley Osborne, who is scheduled for the show. We’ve not been told if Davenport will be featured on tonight’s show or tomorrow’s tapings in any capacity.
It was reported on Aug. 29 by TMZ, that former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Garcia’s (Bella) husband, Artem Chigvintsev, had been arrested for domestic battery. At the time of the initial report, not much more was provided. Here is some follow up from TMZ.
TMZ has obtained the dispatch call: “Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party].”
“There is a child on scene. Medical en route,” adding, “There’s an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible.”
As TMZ reported yesterday after the initial report, Artem then called the paramedics off, which is reflected by the dispatcher who says, “RP is stating no medical is needed now.”
In addition, it was noted that the child was with Garcia while Garcia and Chigvintsev were physically separated. Police reportedly still showed up an hour later. They saw visible injuries on the alleged victim and arrested Artem for felony corporal injury to a spouse.
A representative for Garcia did provide a message asking for privacy to the family at this time.
TMZ has posted more on the couples relationship that can be read below.
WWE’s Michin has been a very valuable player for WWE over the past several months. Whether it be on the main roster or in NXT, Michin has been a workhorse and has had weekly matches to prove what an asset she is to the company.
Currently, Michin will be facing Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Title on the Aug. 30 SmackDown in Berlin. This will be in a Street Fight, something Michin has grown accustom to.
While speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture ahead of Bash In Berlin, Michin shared her goals and what she hopes is next for her in WWE.
“Surprisingly, I think I’ve already accomplished the majority of it, which is to show people who I am and to have people realize that I can do this and I know what I’m doing. I guess, for 2025, whether it’s the tag titles, maybe a new midcard title, hopefully, I don’t know. Anything, I would just love to finally say that I won a championship in WWE. Hopefully. That’s the next goal,” she said.
As of Aug. 27, it has been 365 days since the NWA World Women’s Championship massive reign of Kamille ended.
Kenzie Paige stopped Kamille’s 813 day reign a year ago and has been champion ever since. Since her win, she has successfully defended the title among the likes of Tiffany Nieves, Natalia Markova, Ella Envy, Ruthie Jay, Jada Stone, Missa Kate and more.
The 22yo has been working with NWA since 2021. Since then she has risen in the ranks after becoming a NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champion, the inaugural NWA World Women’s TV Champion, and now the top champion of the division. She has just recently signed a long term deal with NWA back in July.
The former champion Kamille took to social media to congratulate Paige on her year long title reign and had some choice words as well for an internet keyboard warrior.
WWE’s Bash in Berlin will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31. Ahead of the event on Aug. 30 the Bash in Berlin Kick Off show has taken place.
This includes the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio. Morgan taunts the crowd and Michael Cole saying they are jealous of Dom. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest come out to stop the shenanigans. The two teams face off at the Bash.
On the Aug. 29 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Jordynne Grace successfully defended her TNA Knockouts World Title against Ash by Elegance. This time, they met in a Match by Elegance and it truly was anything goes!!
Everything but the kitchen sink was used in this match and most of the Knockouts roster as well.
Rosemary sought revenge from her championship match last week that ended in a no contest when Ash attacked both her and Grace. So Rosemary took out Ash’s Personal Concierge. Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards hit the ring and tried to help Ash while Spitfire (Jody Threat and Dani Luna) hit the ring to help Grace. In the end, Grace gets the win with a Muscle Buster through a table on the outside.
Nikki Cross, who is also going by Abby the Witch/Sister Abigail in the Wyatt Sicks faction, has re-signed with WWE.
According to a report by Fightful Select, talks on re-signing cross stem back to the spring before the Wyatt Sicks even officially debuted.
The report reads:
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Nikki Cross has signed a new deal with WWE. Cross hasn’t wrestled since November, but has re-emerged as an integral member of the Wyatt Sicks since their debut.
Fightful Select learned that negotiations were ongoing in the spring, before the faction debuted. We’re told that the deal is a multi-year contract in length.
Sources within WWE that we’ve spoken to long have had positive things to say about Nikki Cross. Particularly during the pandemic, numerous extras reached out to Fightful to speak about how welcoming Cross was to them.
Cross is a former Raw Women’s Champion, three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, 11-time 24/7 Champion, and won Money in the Bank in 2021.
She was last seen targeting Ivy Nile as a member of the Wyatt Sicks due to Nile’s betrayal on Maxxine Dupri.
In a new report by TMZ on Aug. 29 says, Nikki Garcia’s husband and Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev has been arrested for domestic battery.
According to the report, Chigvintsev is allegedly being held in the Napa County Jail as of Thursday morning under a felony domestic violence charge.
Details about the arrest aren’t clear at this time and who all were involved. The couple celebrated their anniversary earlier in the week. They were married in 2022 and share a four-year old son, Matteo together.
Garcia was active on social media this past weekend allowing Matteo to watch his first wrestling event as her twin sister Brie Garcia was in attendance at AEW’s All In. Brie was there to support her husband Brian Danielson who defeated Swerve Strickland in the main event to become AEW World Champion.
Jon Moxley returned to AEW for the first time since the Forbidden Door event that took place at the end of June. With this return, he told Tony Schiavone in an in-ring promo that this is “not your company anymore.”
Unsure what to make of all of this, Moxley was backstage later in the night. Marina Shafir joined him and attacked a handful of backstage staff. Moxley responded with, “You know what we need around here?” to which Shafir responded “humility.”
Shafir has been with AEW since 2021 and had previously been in a tag team alongside former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose. She has spent this year in ROH where she has been the victor in a number of squash matches. She has not wrestled on AEW since December where she lost to Ruby Soho.

On the Aug. 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jamie Hayter returned to the ring for the first time since injured 15 months ago. She returned at All In over the weekend, and her first target has been Saraya. So who else to face in her return match other than Saraya’s companion – Harley Cameron.
This match wasn’t long but it did what needed to be done to put Hayter back in the fold. She made short work of Cameron with the Hayterade to get the win. Saraya would comfort Cameron only for a moment before throwing her into Hayter to get away. She escaped through the crowd.
Saraya spoke later on with Cameron. She says that she is pissed and sends a message to Hayter.
“You (Cameron) did amazing though babe. You really killed it. The way you threw your body at Jamie for me. I mean, I don’t have a scratch on me. You’re my bodyguard (tosses Cameron to the side). Anyway, Jamie, what is your problem? I mean, fuck, first you interrupt me at All In during my time when the crowd were about to cheer me. Then you brutalize poor Harley when all seh wanted was a good, clean match. I mean, this is far from over. I mean, this was me happy, and now I am pissed. You do not want to piss off the Unproblematic Icon. So when the time is right, Harley’s gonna kick your ass. Right, babe?”
Elsewhere on Dynamite, Mariah May was supposed to have her championship celebration as she defeated Toni Storm at All In to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion.
May came out on the stage and let the crown of Champaign, Illinois know that their town was more like watered down piss beer. She says the crowd needed some glamour and she would take off her robe and show some while posing with the belt. However, she did state the full celebration has been postponed.
As for the champion who retained at All In, the TBS Champion Mercedes Mone hosted a party with Kamille. They were interrupted by Private Party. Isiah Kassidy complimented Mone but then the tag team was removed by Kamille.
Lastly, another champion, CMLL Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale is happy about her victory from All In. Because of that victory, she has been able to choose the stipulation for her match against Kris Statlander at All Out. She has chosen a Chicago Street Fight.

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to another thrilling installment of NXT, where the women’s division took center stage tonight, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We even had a few surprises up our sleeves. So, without further ado, let’s dive in!
We kick off with both teams strutting backstage, Fatal Influence is debuting their new entrance tonight!
Fatal Influence vs. MetaFour
Fatal Influence came out swinging, completely dominating the early goings. Lash, proving she’s no pushover, chucked both women outside just before we hit the break. When we return, it’s Lash still in control, but not for long. Jakara tagged in and delivered a Hart Attack to Henley, but Jayne had other plans, breaking up the pin by shoving Lash into it—how rude!
Jakara and Henley then engaged in a good old-fashioned forearm exchange in the middle of the ring. Jayne nearly snagged the win with a two-count on Jackson, but Jackson bounced back with a reverse X Factor. As Legend tagged back in, Jayne lured her to ringside with a cheeky ruse. Nyx tried a sneaky cheap shot, but Legend had her number with a big boot. Back in the ring, Jayne and Henley caught Legend off guard with their version of Meet in the Middle, securing the win.
Winners: Fatal Influence
A quick tweet flashed on the screen from Wendy Choo, teasing a surprise for Kelani Jordan this Sunday at No Mercy.
We then get a replay of Izzi Dame’s sneak attack on Karmen Petrovic, knocking her out of the Gauntlet Match. With both competitors now in the ring, it’s time for some payback!
Izzi Dame vs. Karmen Petrovic
Dame started off strong, blocking a snapmare and flattening Petrovic with a shoulder tackle and a backbreaker—classy Dame, really. She almost got the win after another backbreaker, but Petrovic wasn’t ready to call it quits. She fought back with a few well-placed kicks, though Dame wasn’t having any of it, blocking a Thesz Press with a spinebuster for a close two-count.
Dame then went for a Torture Rack, but Petrovic wriggled out with a few knees to the midsection. Petrovic then hit a crossbody for her own two-count and followed up with a Rolling Sobat and a Heel Kick. Dame, however, wasn’t about to let her have it easy, returning fire with a clothesline and a Yakuza Kick. But in a surprising turn of events, Petrovic rolled Dame up for the win. Well, that’s one way to turn the tables!
Winner: Karmen Petrovic
Next, we were treated to a sit-down interview with the number one contender, Jaida Parker. Parker spoke of her past as a Division 1 Soccer player, having only joined WWE a year ago, and now finding herself with a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Sarah Schreiber wondered if Roxanne Perez was underestimating Parker. Parker, with all the confidence of a woman who knows her worth, said she’s sure of it and flaunted her soccer accolades, adding that when the stakes are high, she always delivers.
Cue Roxanne Perez, who decided to crash the interview and suggested Parker was just another flash in the pan like Lola Vice and Thea Hail. Harsh words from the champ! Parker, not one to back down, threatened to slap the taste out of Perez’s mouth and then promptly did just that. I might have gagged a little—this was top-notch drama.
But!! Someone else was there! Both Perez and Parker noticed someone off screen. Parker says “Yeah, I heard about you, you can get some too” as she walks away. Perez notices who she’s talking to and appears shocked.
Mixed Tag Match: The Family vs. NQCC
The lads kicked things off with Stacks, who, let’s be honest, is always easy on the eyes. Wren tagged in, which meant Rizzo had to enter, leading to Wren hitting her with an X Factor for a near fall. Rizzo, ever the cunning competitor, dumped Wren to the outside. In the end, it was The Family who emerged victorious.
Winner: Adrianna Rizzo (The Family)
NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan then made her entrance, calling out Wendy Choo to send out her “demonic little friend.” Enter Rosemary! The crowd erupted as the mysterious figure made her presence known.
Kelani Jordan vs. Rosemary
Rosemary wasted no time, choking Jordan into the corner, but Jordan managed to evade a few moves and landed a dropkick. She got a two-count off a grounded crossbody, but Rosemary quickly regained control with her Upside Down move and an Exploder Suplex for another near fall. Rosemary locked in a Rear Naked Choke, but Jordan, showing her resilience, fought out of it.
The two women traded forearms until Jordan caught Rosemary with a Pele Kick. Jordan then rallied with some axe handles and a kip-up, only for Rosemary to no-sell a slam and hit a Spear for another close call. Rosemary tried to block a right hand, but Jordan came back with an Axe Kick and a Springboard Moonsault to pick up the victory.
Winner: Kelani Jordan
Just as Jordan was celebrating, the lights dimmed, and spotlights focused on her while Wendy Choo’s theme played. Choo then appeared out of nowhere and locked Jordan in a Rear Naked Choke, posing triumphantly over her with the North American Title. What a way to make a statement!
Overall, it was a cracking night for the women of NXT. I’m more excited for No Mercy this Sunday than the PLE on Saturday—especially after that lackluster go-home show on Raw. The NA Title match feels like it could swing either way, and while the Jaida vs. Roxanne match seems like a foregone conclusion, I’m hoping this Sunday will be Jaida’s breakout moment. If anyone can bring it out of her, it’s Roxanne.
Former TNA Knockouts Champion and current TNA Knockout Rosemary made a surprise appearance on the Aug. 27 episode of NXT.
Kelani Jordan was put in a match with an unknown opponent of Wendy Choo’s choosing. Choo will be facing Jordan for the NXT Women’s North American Title this Sunday at No Mercy. But first, Choo sent out her friend Rosemary.
Rosemary put up a fight as expected, but in the final moments Jordan hit the split legged moonsault for the win. Post match, Choo’s face appeared all over the screens at ringside before she jumped Jordan from behind and locked in a sleeper hold.
Jordan went down on the mat as Rosemary pushes the championship belt to Choo who raised it in the air.
AEW’s Tay Melo has expressed that she is cleared for an in-ring return.
Melo’s last match in AEW was in January 2023 when she teamed with Anna Jay. They faced Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale in a street fight. Shortly thereafter, Melo announced she was pregnant and she welcomed her baby girl into the world in November.
Before All In at Wembley Stadium last Sunday Melo was at the show with her child and husband Sammy Guevara. Guevara questioned if she was returning to the ring soon.
She replied, “You gotta call Tony Khan and ask him because I don’t know about that. I’m cleared, though. I’m cleared. Mama is cleared. Just got cleared.”
Mariah May will be on this week’s Dynamite as she celebrates her victory from All In.
At All In, May defeated her former mentor Toni Storm to become the AEW Women’s World Champion. May earned this title match from winning this year’s Owen Hart Cup. She turned on Storm after winning this opportunity.
In addition to this, it was confirmed earlier today that Jamie Hayter will be back in action against Harley Cameron.
Jamie Hayter made her highly anticipated return to AEW on Sunday at the All In event. Prior to her injury, Hayter’s last match was in May of 2023 at Double or Nothing where she dropped the AEW Women’s World Title to Toni Storm.
Hayter returned on the All In pre show and immediately targeted Saraya who issued an open challenge. A match never took place as Hayter had to fight off several UK talents, Harley Cameron, and even Saraya’s mother.
Now she will return to the ring for the first time in over a year against Cameron this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Welcome back to another edition of Monday Night Raw! It’s gonna be a brief one folks, let’s dive in.
The Judgment Day kicked off the night by boasting about their brutal beatdown of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley last week. They vowed to inflict even more damage at their upcoming showdown in Berlin. Dominik Mysterio attempted to speak, but the crowd’s boos drowned him out as he hinted that Liv Morgan has make him do things he never thought he was capable of before.
In an 8-man tag team match, Judgment Day faced off against LWO, with the Women’s World Champion at ringside. Judgment Day emerged victorious but their celebration was cut short when Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. The Terror Twins, stormed out to seek revenge for last week’s attack. Liv and Dominik quickly scurried, setting the stage for a mixed tag match this Saturday.
Backstage, PFC took a moment to brag about the damage they’ve inflicted on Dakota Kai, The KCs, and Zelina Vega.
Damage CTRL vs. Pure Fusion Collective
Io Sky and Zoey Stark kicked things off, but Shayna Baszler quickly tagged in and sent Sky crashing to the floor, allowing Deville to get a cheap shot in before the break.
After the break, Kairi Sane tagged in, unleashing a flurry of spinning backfists and a sliding lariat on Baszler. Sane followed up with a top-rope forearm for a near fall. Baszler countered with an ankle lock, and Stark added a missile dropkick, but it wasn’t enough to keep Sane down.
The tide turned when the returning Zelina Vega appeared, taking out Deville. With the distraction, Sane knocked Stark down, and Sky dove onto Baszler. Sane then hit the Insane Elbow on Stark to secure the pinfall victory for Damage CTRL.
Winner: Damage CTRL
Not much else on Raw, Ivy and Nikki were featured in the main event but otherwise a paint by numbers episode for the women. Liv/Rhea stuff is a major focal point of the show and is still getting a great response from the audience so I can’t throw too much shade it’s way, but I’ll be grateful once Dominik is no longer involved in the Women’s World Title scene.
