The Unholy Union have their first match after winning the championships at Clash at the Castle from Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. This match is against former champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
It does not state the gold is on the line.
Since winning the tag team gold, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre have already had the eyes of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark on them. Belair and Cargill have also mentioned getting their titles back. However, every tag team is going to want to earn a title shot. If the KC’s are to win then this would put them in position to fight for the titles.
Also already set for Raw is a Triple Threat to qualify for the Money in the Bank. It will be Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane vs. Lyra Valkyria.
A trios match has been added to AEW Dynamite this Wednesday on June 25. The Outcasts of Saraya, Harley Cameron, and Anna Jay will be taking on Toni Storm, Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa. Can Storm and Shirakawa co-exist in this match prior to their title bout at Forbidden Door?
Also next Saturday’s AEW Collision will have a first time match as Deonna Purrazzo takes on Hikaru Shida. The match will be a first round Owen Hart Cup match. The winner between them will take on the winner of Saraya vs. Mariah May in the next round.
Serena Deeb has announced an open challenge for next Saturday as well.
As for this Saturday’s Collision, May and Storm defeated Leyla Hirsch and Lady Frost.
In surprising news, Sendai Girls World Champion Mika Iwata has defeated Saori Anou to become the new Wonder of Stardom Champion. This ends Anou’s reign at 176 days.
On June 22, STARDOM hosted its THE CONVERSION event, live from Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. The 28 year old Iwata, debuted in 2015 and in her Sendai Girls debut she lost to the icon Aja Kong. She was trained by Meiko Satomura (former NXT UK Women’s Champion) who was the very first Sendai Girls World Champion. She has held that gold for 273 days and counting after defeated former NXT UK talent Millie McKenzie in September. Iwata will have her first Wonder of Stardom Title defense at Sendai Girls Korakuen on July 15.
Outside of this win by Iwata, this show will be remembered as it was fhe “Final Chapter” match between Queen’s Quest and Oedo Tai. All but one member to be kicked out of the losing team’s group at the end of the match.
As a result of Oedo Tai’s win, Queen’s Quest is left with only Saya Kamitani.
Kamitani lost the match – AZM, Miyu Amasaki, Lady C, and Hina are no longer in Queen’s Quest
Starlight Kid, Suzu Suzuki, and Mei Seira started a new group. They want AZM and Miyu Amasaki to join.
Full results are as follows (courtesy of Fightful):

For the past eight years, WWE fans have grown accustomed to the presence of Kayla Braxton as a backstage interviewer. Now, eight years later, she is bidding adieu.
She posted this message to her Instagram on Saturday morning, announcing that next week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown will be her last.
Braxton, real name Kayla Becker, first joined WWE in 2016 as a ring announcer and backstage interviewer for the NXT brand. Over time, her role would expand to the main roster, eventually becoming a full-fledged member of the SmackDown brand by 2019. That same year, she became one of the original hosts of WWE’s YouTube show The Bump, appearing on the show regularly until last year.
We at Diva Dirt wish Kayla the absolute best in her post-WWE journey!
Last year’s Owen Hart Cup winner, Willow Nightingale, has advanced to the semi-finals of this year’s tournament.
On the June 21 episode of AEW Rampage, Nightingale defeated Serena Deeb. This advances Nightingale to face her recent rival Kris Statlander who advanced over a win against Nyla Rose.
In an AEW Exclusive, Nightingale states –
“Almost exactly a year ago was the last time I wore this very set of gear. This beautiful, pink set. Why? Because last year, I won the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. In 2024, I aim to do exactly the same thing. Tonight, I beat Serena Deeb. It was a battle, yes. I lost a contact. There goes my vision halfway through the match. I scratched my lip. But that is just a part of wrestling. Next match, I have Kris Statlander. Stat, you really broke my heart, and I’ve had to sit with that, and I’ve gotten over that. That’s not true, but I’ve moved on from heartbreak, and I’m at the next step. I’m angry and pissed off. So in the next round, you’ve got a really big beating waiting for you.“
Ahead of their Title for Title clash at Forbidden Door, The CEO Mercedes Moné shows up at the June 21 CMLL event to confront Stephanie Vaquer.
At CMLL x NJPW FantasticaMania Mexico, Vaquer defeated La Catalina to retain the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
Post match, the AEW TBS Champion confronted Vaquer. Moné took a mic to congratulate Vaquer on her win but vowed to take her title at Forbidden Door. Vaquer responded as the moment escalated. Moné slapped Vaquer, and they brawled. Moné held up both titles.
One of these women will walk out as a double champion on June 30.
Friday Night SmackDown emanated this week from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. We are six days removed from Clash at the Castle, but WWE’s international invasion continues with the next premium live event, Money in the Bank, taking place on Saturday, July 6th, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Speaking of Money in the Bank, the focus of every woman on the blue brand has shifted to climbing that ladder and grabbing that briefcase to cash in on a future championship opportunity. Monday Night Raw Superstar IYO SKY has already punched her ticket, but who will be joining her to represent Team Blue?
Our first sight of the women comes in the form of Bianca Belair, who’s doing some final preparations for a Money in the Bank qualifying match against Michin and Chelsea Green. Her tag team partner Jade Cargill enters the shot and tells her that she wants to talk to general manager Nick Aldis about getting a tag team championship rematch since they weren’t pinned at Clash at the Castle. Bianca agrees but acknowledges that she has to focus on her qualifying match; she reveals that Jade is involved in a qualifying match next week.
By the time the show had returned from commercial, it was off to the races with all three competitors! WWE Women’s Champion Bayley was seen watching from backstage. A notable moment happened before another ad break: Belair was ready to throw a punch to Chelsea, but she ended up ducking and the fist hit the face of Michin, who punched back, resulting in a brief scuffle between them, interrupted only by a suicide dive from Green. The match kept going after the break, with the three continuing to pummel each other in order to solidify their entry into the match.
The end of the bout would come when Bianca would hit a KOD on Michin, but she was quickly thrown out of the ring by Chelsea before she could even make the cover, with Green pinning Michin for the victory and becoming the first female on SmackDown to participate in this year’s women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Bayley, still watching from the back, was confronted by Blair Davenport, who told her to let her “little friend” Naomi know that she was looking forward to facing her in a Money in the Bank qualifying match next week, and that when she will become Ms. Money in the Bank, she’ll really be looking forward to cashing in on the Women’s Championship.
Finishing things off was Michin, who was in the locker room recuperating when Tiffany Stratton walked in on her. Stratton mocks her and says that she couldn’t handle the pressure, but Michin retorts, saying that at least she didn’t have to crawl to Nia Jax for protection. An offended Stratton tries to hit Michin, who does the job for her and leaves a special handprint on her face for good measure. She immediately gets pushed into a box by Nia Jax, who looks at a gleeful Tiffany, and the two leave the locker room after each other, with Michin now lying hurt on the floor.
Here’s what’s set up for next week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown:
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Candice LeRae vs Jade Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Naomi vs Blair Davenport vs Indi Hartwell
The June 21 episode of SmackDown will determine the second woman to enter this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. General Manager Nick Aldis has confirmed the following match.
On Wednesday, Diva Dirt started a poll on who should become the next AEW Owen Hart Cup winner.
We let you, the readers vote, and here is who you have selected. There were 7 names to choose from as Nyla Rose was already eliminated in round one. The top spot received 183 votes and the total amount of votes were, 527.
Fresh off a history-making Against All Odds this past Sunday, as TNA Impact! now sets its sights towards Slammiversary.
To kick off Knockouts action, The Hex looks to face the team of Spitfire. After The Hex’s unsuccessful challenge for the Knockouts World Tag Team titles, the team looks to get a one-up on an opposing team that is looking to reignite their fire for those same titles they had once lost.
Jody Threat and Marti Belle lock up, but Threat quickly overtakes Belle and Allysin Kay in the early ongoings of the match. Spitfire takes the early lead, but the team of Hex plays some dirty antics of their own to turn the match around.
The Hex take control of most of the match isolating Threat in the corner. But, Threat manages to power through and gets Dani Luna in for the hot tag. Spitfire is all on the same page, and hititng a unique finish with for the win.
After accepting PCO’s love letter, Steph De Lander looks to finally go on her date with him tonight…in the ring.
Their first date seems to be going chaotically well, that is until AJ Francis and Rich Swann interrupt their time. SDL hits a winding slap across Francis’ face but meets her fate as she gets chokeslammed through the dining table.
In our next Knockouts match of the night, Heather Reckless is in the ring and per usual George Iceman cuts her intro short and introduces Ash By Elegance to the ring.
The two start and are quite even until Ash levels Reckless with a disrespectful right forearm. Reckless is not giving up and uses her speed to her advantage. The two end up propped up on the top rope, but Reckless miscues and lands on the ring canvas. Ash then hits Rarified Air to get the win.
Ash is not done and wants to send a message to Jordynne Grace until the TNA Knockouts World Champion herself comes out to make the save. Unfortunately, Grace gets distracted by Iceman allowing Ash to get a cheap shot in and knockout Grace with the Knockouts title. Ash is left standing holding the championship right above the champion.
Backstage Grace is reeling over this attack and looks to talk to Santino Marella to settle this once and for all.
What did you think about tonight’s TNA Impact? Does Ash have what it takes to take the title away from Grace? Can Spitfire use this momentum to get back on track for the titles? Let us know below!
The forever ROH Women’s World Champion Athena is stating that she is injured as she called for an Emergency Minion Empowerment Meeting on this week’s ROH.
With Lexy Nair and the ROH Women’s TV Champion Billie Starkz alongside of her, Athena on crutches says she tore a couple of ligaments on her ankle, which could leave her out of action of 4 to 6 Months.
The champ said that despite the injury, she would not relinquish the gold. Queen Aminata & Red Velvet made their way on stage to confront Athena. They put into question Athena’s injury and finding it to not be reality. This is similar to how Starkz faked her injury on Supercard of Honor to be crowned the first TV Champ against Aminata. Aminata pushed Starkz onto Athena, sending her into the alleged injured leg. Medical assisted Athena to the back.
The most recent episode of AEW Rampage was taped as usual before this week’s Dynamite. Below you will see the results of a first-round match from the 2024 Owen Hart Cup.
Nightingale advancing means she will next face her recent friend turned rival Kris Statlander in the semi-finals. Statlander defeated Nyla Rose on Dynamite for her advancement.
Charlotte Flair, who was injured in a match back in December, has provided a recent update to her recovery. She is planned to be out of action for at least nine months.
On Instagram, Flair gave the following update:
“Today, was my first biodex (isokinetic training) test! I needed to be in the 40 percent or less deficit for strength compared to my non surgical leg…..I had 20 percent or less quad strength and in some of the measurements I was stronger in my surgical leg…I MISS YOU GUYS & can’t wait to lace my boots again!”
WWE Superstar Shotzi was the featured talent on the most recent episode of WWE Tattooed. On that she showed off her Bray Wyatt tattoo which is of the moth symbol.
She shares that Wyatt and the Wyatt Family inspired her to become a wrestler and her and her sister wanted to be the female version. You can view the clip of her talking about it below and the full episode. Also Rhea Ripley’s is below as well.
Shotzi has been out of action recovering from ACL injury.
It has been officially announced that NXT will be moving on Oct. 1 to the CW Network. NXT had made its home on the USA Network for the past five years. The brand has existed for 12 years. It also became a two-hour show at that time once it left the WWE Network platform.
PWInsider has confirmed the move date and also add that on the debut of the program, on the new network, the show will be taken to an arena outside of the WWE Performance Center. The weekly shows moved from Full Sail University to the WWE PC during COVID.
As of the June 19 episode of Dynamite, AEW has released the brackets for the women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament.
Kris Statlander defeated Nyla Rose in a first round match, so she has advanced. But that still makes seven women vying for the cup and a future title opportunity. Who should take it this year?
On the road to the Forbidden Door in 11 days, AEW Dynamite looks to make a match official and continue some legacies along the way.
First, the TBS Champion Mercedes Moné has a message for NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer after defeating Zeuxis last week.
Tonight, we see the title contract signing between Stardom’s Mina Shirakawa and the AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm. Shirakawa has had eyes on the title, but Storm is not so willing to let go of the title along with her precious protege.
In the ring, we see Mariah May ready to officiate this contract signing. Both the challenger and champion arrive to the ring, and May states that no matter what she “loves them both.”
Shirakawa tells May to “shut up” and that Storm was a legend in Stardom and became a star in AEW. But, recently has gone soft, and that everyone wants Mina and will take her title along with May. Storm says that “this buffet is wide open” and the two make it official.
Shirakawa then tells May to choose between the two but is interrupted by The Outcasts, Saraya and Harley Cameron. But they’re not alone as they’ve brought on Anna Jay to even the odds in this brawl. Storm tries to prop up Saraya on the contract table but ends up crashing, with this team leaving out on top.
Next, is a quarter-final match in the Owen Hart Tournament as Kris Statlander and Nyla Rose go head-to-head. Rose looks to exploit her strength edge and hometown crowd advantage early but takes too long as Statlander gains control.
Statlander tries to wear down Rose throughout the match but knocks out Statlander for her troubles and sees an opening for a cannonball.
Statlander attempts to go a 450 Splash but ends up missing for her troubles. But eventually, Rose gets caught up in the top rope and Statlander sees this advantage and hits the Tombstone Piledriver to advance to the semi-finals.
Post-match Stokeley Hathaway has some words for Willow Nightingale, but she’s on standby ready to receive their message. She lets them know that this Friday on Rampage she goes against Serena Deeb in a quarterfinal match in the tournament. And if Nightingale advances, she gets to go against Statlander herself.
What did you think of tonight’s AEW Dynamite? How will the involvement of The Outcasts play out in this AEW Women’s Title match? Can Nightingale overcome Deeb to advance? Let us know in the comments below!
Hey everybody! Phonie is back after missing Raw from this past Monday! It was a great episode too and the live chat looked like a blast. For anyone on the fence about joining in, please feel free to introduce yourself and participate! It might seem intimidating but we’re a fun and welcoming bunch. Anyways, onto NXT!
First piece of content is a backstage segment where Fallon Henley has a bone to pick with Carlee Bright, who wants a shot at the Women’s North American Title. Fallon argues that if anyone deserves a title opportunity, it’s her. Carlee retorts that Fallon failed to deliver at Battleground setting up a match for later tonight!
Another backstage segment with Roxanne Perez setting the tone with Lola letting her know who the champion of this division is. Lola’s all about her and steps to Roxanne, asking if she can handle the pressure. Roxanne, brushes off Lola and tells her to stay focused on the match tonight.
Roxanne Perez & Lola Vice vs. Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend vs. Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx
Loving that NXT is trying up different match types, I remember we had a triple threat women’s tag team title match during the pandemic era I really enjoyed. Great seeing it brought back here! It’s a good work around the fact that this match is full of heels too. At one point Roxanne and Jacy try to double team Lash but Legend really is just that and dominates both women with her impressive power. Super fun match! Another fun spot when Lola gets into her version of Brie Mode on Jazmyn & Jakara only for Jacy to blindside Vice for a nearfall. End of the match comes after a fun waterfall spot with Jakara turning around to a spinning back whiff by Lola. Roxanne tags herself in preventing Vice from gaining the victory but ultimately scoring the win for her team. Perez hits a spinning back fist of her own on Lola to the gut post match.
Winners: Roxanne & Lola
Sol Ruca gives Kelani some words of encouragement before our first Women’s North American Title defense! This is at the end of a walk to the ring that had Kelani surrounded by the women’s locker room all eyeing up her title.
NXT Women’s North American Title Match:Kelani Jordan vs. Michin
Handshake starts the bout and both performers following through with a squeaky clean opening sequence. To counteract the heel vs. heel trios match now we have a face vs. face one, not mad about it! Eventually we see the veteran Michin start showing Jordan the ropes so to speak, gaining the upper hand via experience as the Good Brothers watch on at ringside. I think this match achieved what they set out to do, Michin pretty much had a response to everything Jordan threw at her in the ring, but Kelani showed off her heart and fighting spirit. A high point of the match had Kelani pull out a really good looking poisonrana for a near fall. Before it felt like the match could get into that next gear, Jaida Parker attacks Michin while the ref is distracted allowing Kelani to hit the split legged moonsault for the win!
Winner: Kelani Jordan
Izzi Dame vignette, I can behind her new catchphrase of NARP (Non-Athletic Regular People) and Izzi the Great Dame.
Fallon Henley vs. Carlee Bright w/ Kendal Gray
Carly is a burst of energy starting out the match, hitting a flurry of offense against Henley. You can really see the Kelly Kelly inspiration on display here from Bright. I feel like Fallon should’ve dominated more of the bout since she’s coming off a heel turn. Henley did debut some new gear though, really amping up the cowgirl aesthetic. She also hit a really cool pumphandle cradle back suplex which should’ve ended the match. Kendal is there too, not super familiar with her so hopefully we get to flesh out who she is other than the chick who got taken out by Wendy Choo who puts her to sleep. This doesn’t distract the still shining Bright but Fallon hits the aforementioned back suplex into the shining wizard for the win.
Winner: Fallon Henley
Backstage segment with General Manager Ava congratulating Kelani on her first title defense with Jordan stating Sol Ruca should be her next challenger. Arianna Grace takes umbrage with this and has a brief exchange with the pair leading up to a match next week, Sol Ruca vs. Arianna Grace. Follow up segment from there with Fallon, Jacy & Jazmyn airing out their frustrations with the way things are being run in NXT. Whatever get’s these three a story I’m down for!
Overall a pretty good show last night from NXT. We’re just coming off a major high from Battleground so this was more of a foundational episode to set up storylines. Sound off in the comments with your thoughts and hope to see more of you in the live chats!
The AEW Owen Hart Foundation Tournament kicks off on this Wednesday’s Dynamite. The first match is between Kris Statlander vs. Nyla Rose. Rose has been seen on ROH more recently while her last AEW match hasn’t been since October.
Other names that have been confirmed for the tournament have been: Willow Nightingale, Saraya, Mariah May, and Hikaru Shida. There will be eight women total, so two more to be added. The winner this year will get a championship opportunity. The full brackets will be revealed on Wednesday’s show.
Also on Wednesday, there will be a contract signing between the AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and her Forbidden Door opponent, Mina Shirakawa.
Zelina Vega is seeing red and she is not happy about what went down on the June 17 episode of Raw.
Vega had a qualifying match in an attempt to enter this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The match would be won by IYO SKY and also included Kiana James as it was a Triple Threat. Vega was distracted when Morgan came out to ringside.
Vega referred to Morgan as the bop of the locker room and said that Morgan hops all on Dominik. While Morgan does that though, Vega will be concentrating on becoming the Women’s World Champion.
At the time of this writing, WWE has not booked Morgan vs. Vega at Money in the Bank, but it seems to be leading to that.
It should come as no shock that Chelsea Green would love to have her husband, the former Zack Ryder, Matt Cardona back in WWE. Cardona has been taking the indie world by storm and has made appearances for both TNA and AEW since his WWE departure. Along with him has been Steph De Lander.
Currently working with TNA, De Lander was formerly in NXT under the name Persia Pirotta. She had a tag team with Indi Hartwell. De Lander was a victim of the massive lay offs back in 2022.
While speaking to Gorilla Position, Green answered if she would want to see Cardona return to WWE. She threw in De Lander also.
“I hope so. [Asked if Cardona would be her valet] No, I actually think I don’t want him anywhere near me in wrestling. We had a long two years together. We lived together, we wrestled together, we rode together. [Asked if it was too much] Have you ever lived, worked, and drove and flew with your [spouse]? Exactly. You should try it one day. You’d know, you would never ask me that question. My husband is very high-strung, very, and we go about life differently. I’m an easygoing, easy-breezy girl. He is not an easy breezy girl. [Laughs] He is not at all. He is actually the opposite of an easy-breezy girl. So I would like him back, and then I would like him to be with Steph De Lander,” Green said. (Fightful)
Money in the Bank is less than three weeks away and we need some contenders!
The first woman to qualify is last year’s MITB winner and former WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY. SKY defeated Kiana James and Zelina Vega in a Triple Threat. The Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan came out during this match to stir some things up and distract Vega. Morgan and Vega started their fight last week.
It was important to note that Morgan was wearing Dominik Mysterio’s purple vest. A vest he noticed was missing earlier in the night. The distraction by Morgan cost Vega the match and had SKY go up top for the Over the Moonsault on James to get the win.
Remember when Morgan showed up in Dom’s vest? Well that would be a focal point for the rest of the show. Morgan appeared once again at ringside, this time during a match between Carlito and Dragon Lee. Morgan and Vega collided once again here. The Judgment day were involved as well with Dominik looking back at Morgan as the ushered him away from her.
Lastly, Dom was looking for his vest still up to the last hour of the show. Morgan was in a backstage hallway and motioned him to come to her. He asked for his vest back in which she said he could take it off of her and even helped by unzipping it a little. Damian Priest caught this and after Dom got the vest back and walked aeay, Priest asked Morgan to stop as Dom wants nothing to do with her. Morgan disagrees. She feels that Dom wants everything to do with her.
Elsewhere on Raw, there was a backstage segment with the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. They wre confronted by Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark who wete the other team in the Triple Threat from Clash at the Castle. The duo reminded the new champions that they techincally won as Jade Cargill tapped to the Kirifuda Clutch, but the referee never saw it. Stark and Baszler said they are focusing on MITB but want another title shot. Fyre and Dawn welcomed the challenge.
A second women’s match saw Katana Chance and Kayden Carter defeating Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane). This time a distraction happened as Lyra Valkyria came out to ringside to help The KC’s. The victory happened from the After Party finisher.
After Kai and Sane’s loss, IYO SKY wasn’t happy backstage. She stated that something has to chamge in Damage CTRL or she will change it herself.
Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa seemed to have departed from Chad Gable. Enough was enough as Otis got physical with Gable. Backstage in the locker room the group said they were leaving and took off.
Lastly we saw Nikki Cross emerge as Abby the Witch in the new Wyatt Sicks stable. For more on that you can click here.
Next week, another MITB qualifier match takes place between Shayna Baszler, Kairi Sane, and Lyra Valkyria.
Whether they will officially be known as the Wyatt 6 is undetermined at this time, but they are finally here (It seems by the new merchandise that is already dropped they will be known as Wyatt Sicks/Wyatt Sick6).
All of the QR codes, glitches, and background hints have led up to the return of Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) and four other members. We have Nikki Cross joining the group as Abby the Witch, Dexter Lumis as Mercy the Buzzard, Erick Rowan as Ramblin Rabbit, and called up from NXT, Joe Gacy as Huskus the Pig.
The last five minutes or so of Raw showed the glowing door on stage that we had seen before for Bray Wyatt. The door busted open and the first member we got to see was Cross crawling out to the Wyatt lantern. From there she motioned to the back as the camera took us through the control room and backstage where there was nothing but destruction. Blood splattered, fog and smoke, and eventually a brutally beaten Chad Gable.
Throughout the trip through the back we saw Ramblin Rabbit, Huskus the Pig, Mercy the Buzzard, and finally Uncle Howdy himself. Howdy made his way to the stage as the other members joined him. They joined Cross (Abby the Witch) as Howdy picked up the lantern and exclaimed “we’re here” before blowing it out to end Raw.
Many are speculating who the sixth person is in the group if they are the Wyatt 6. Although it isn’t fully clear yet, the sixth member most likely was Wyatt himself and this will be an homage to him. Some are thinking that Alexa Bliss may come back and join the group as well. Bliss was close to Wyatt both on and off screen.
