NXT Diva Granted Release

138

NXT Diva Christina Vargas has confirmed on Twitter that she has been granted her release from the WWE.

Vargas, who was signed by the WWE back in May but only recently arrived at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, informed fans that she had quit.

She then explained her reason for quitting, tweeting that she wanted to pursue cooking:

Though she wasn’t as far into training as fellow NXT Divas Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Veronica Lane, Lana and Devin Taylor, Christina was featured in the recently leaked NXT promo class.

We wish Christina the best of luck in pursuing her cooking career!

With so many new Diva recruits down in NXT these days, it’s an exciting time to be a women’s wrestling fan. NXT is practically filled with fresh faces for fans to rally behind.

Although not too much is known about a few of the new Divas in particular, we’ve gotten a glimpse at the likes of Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Kendall Skye, Veronica Lane, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Charlotte all together with WWE Diva Rosa Mendes, thanks to a picture making the rounds online.

Veronica posted the picture on her Instagram account, captioning it, “Pre lumber-Jill match tonight @wwenxt #divas”.

The Lumberjill match in question happened earlier in the night, when it saw NXT Women’s Champion Paige retain her title against challenger Emma in a non-televised bout held at the Tampa arena.

Which of the new NXT Divas is your favorite?

In Video: Dress Shopping, Fighting and Flirting in Four ‘Total Divas’ Bonus Clips

56

Total Divas may be in the midst of its mid-season break, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see some new footage from the show.

E! has released several bonus clips from last Sunday’s mid-season finale and After Party, two of them showing Natalya shopping for wedding dresses and coming face to face with the infamous Jaret.

In another, JoJo and Eva Marie have yet another argument during the Total Divas After Party.

In the last clip, which serves as a preview of the second half of the season, Cameron and Vincent break up the monotony of a car ride with some silliness.

Watch all four clips below:

Impact Write-Up (September 19th, 2013): And That Makes Four

130

That’s right. After this show, that makes spoiler alert four active Knockouts on the TNA roster. FOUR. I am in shock (well, not that much). In all seriousness, though, this is a sad time for the division. But more on that later. For now let’s focus on the title match between Mickie James and ODB that took place last night.

And there you have it! ODB is your new Knockouts Champion, which makes for another four: four reigns for ODB. After the spoilers came out last week, I was totally shocked; I did not expect this. But then when the news broke that Mickie had not renewed her contract with TNA, it was obvious why. I’m gutted. Totally gutted, and for many reasons. First, because Mickie is my all time faaaave, second because I hate that she didn’t go out on a better note and lastly, because the division is just in tatters right now. It seems that TNA are moving further and further away from women’s wrestling. Gail Kim might be good, but one woman can’t make a division.

I do apologize for the shortness of this Write-Up but I’m just struggling to wrap my head around what direction TNA are going in, or if they’re going in any kind of direction at all. I’m happy for ODB but seriously, this push feels like it came out of nowhere and I don’t really get why, and if they’d known Mickie wasn’t going to resign for a while, why not just carry on the short lived feud between Gail and Mickie? At least it had a little more fire in it than this one.

So I’ll close out this short and sad write up by saying I’m gutted with the way the division is going, and I sincerely hope they pick up somehow. We’ll see. For now, ciao!

Picture of the Day: Party Throwback With Cheerleader Melissa, Kharma and a ‘Flavor of Love’ Star

44

What do you get when you take two former TNA Knockouts and mix them together with a VH1 reality star? A Kodak moment, that’s what.

Cheerleader Melissa and Kharma seem to have, once upon a time, partied it up with notorious VH1 celebrity, Becky Buckwild, who is known for her time on shows such as Flavor of Love, where she tried to win the heart of Flava Flav, as well as I Love Money where she and other VH1 stars battled it out to take home a cash prize.

Melissa tweeted the picture as part of Twitter’s Throwback Thursday, commenting:

We think anyone would love to be a fly on the wall when these three got together. But, to be honest, we’d much rather be guests at the party. You can just tell that they know how to have a good time!

New Knockouts Champion Crowned

93

Tonight on Impact Wrestling, ODB made the most of her Knockouts Title shot against Mickie James, defeating her and becoming a four-time Knockouts Champion.

This marks the first time ODB has captured the title since January 2010, when she defeated Tara for the belt.

Mickie won the title all the way back in May, when she overcame Velvet Sky on an episode of Impact.

Since the match was taped last week, Mickie’s contract with TNA expired and has yet to be renewed. One has to wonder if she dropped the title in anticipation of not returning to the company.

What do you think of ODB winning the Knockouts Title?

Roommate Agreements and Health Scares: What to Expect When ‘Total Divas’ Returns in November!

total-divas

It’s only been four days but we are already missing Total Divas, which aired its final episode for two months on Sunday night.

But never fear! The Total Divas will be back on November 17 and we’ve got a peek at what to expect when the Bella Twins, Natalya, Cameron (Ariane), Naomi (Trinity), Eva Marie and JoJo burst back on to our screens for six new episodes.

Per E!’s new press release, there’ll be plenty of drama as Nikki Bella prepares to move in with her man John Cena and Cameron, who was rushed to hospital in Sunday’s mid-season finale, faces even more medical issues. Uh oh!

Read the details below:

E! AND WWE’S HIT SERIES “TOTAL DIVAS” RETURNS AT A NEW TIME ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17 AT 9PM
WITH SIX ALL-NEW EPISODES

New Series That Takes Viewers Inside the Dynamic And Dramatic Lives of WWE Divas Both In and Out of the Ring Ranks as E!’s Most Watched Freshman Series Since 2011

Los Angeles, CA, September 19, 2013 – Six new episodes of “Total Divas” debuts on Sunday, November 17, when season one of E!’s breakout hit series continues to take viewers inside the lives of the biggest female names in WWE: Nikki and Brie Bella (WWE Divas “The Bella Twins”), Nattie (WWE Diva “Natalya”), Trinity (WWE Diva “Naomi”), Ariane (WWE Diva “Cameron”) and WWE Divas-in-training Eva Marie and JoJo. The action will pick up with some newlywed drama for Nattie as her new husband has trouble seeing his wife in the ring with WWE Superstars for a living. Nikki will be moving in with John Cena, who just suffered an injury, and is surprised with a “co-habitation agreement,” while her twin sister Brie is having trouble finding common ground with her WWE Superstar boyfriend Daniel Bryan. Meanwhile, Ariane’s health issues escalate, which means her tag-team partner Trinity has the opportunity to prove she has what it takes to be a strong solo Diva. The newbies will continue their climb in the business of WWE with Eva Marie pushing buttons with every step she takes.

The first eight episodes of season one, which concluded in a dramatic mid-season finale on Sunday, September 15, averaged 875K A18-49 and 1.4 MM total viewers, making it E!’s most-watched freshman series since Summer 2011. The highly buzzed about new series also ranked as the #1 most social reality show on Sunday night. Season one continues Sunday, November 17 at 9 PM.

The mid-season finale of “Total Divas” on Sunday night showcased the rocky road to the alter for WWE Diva Nattie and her WWE Superstar husband Tyson Kidd. An appearance by a blast from Nattie’s past delayed the nuptials but after a few tears and heated exchanges, the duo tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family – with the exception of Nikki Bella who chose meeting her boyfriend John Cena’s family for the first time over the wedding of her close friend. The tension between the two Divas over wedding attendance was put to rest during the ‘Total Divas After Show’ when Cena apologized for making Nikki choose him over Nattie. Meanwhile, viewers also saw Trinity rush Ariane to the hospital for some inexplicable stomach issues and the feud between the WWE Divas in training, Eva Marie and JoJo, came to an all-time high that ended with the girls moving out of their new apartment. Their growing resentment opened the After Show when Eva Marie called out JoJo for being a “child” and claiming that taking care of a little girl was not what she signed up for.

“Total Divas” second half of season one picks up on Sunday, November 17 at 9pm ET/PT on E! with six new episodes that will continue to explore the lives of the biggest female names in the WWE.

Watch a teaser trailer for the second half of season one here.

WWE Diva Reportedly Getting Top Marks From Officials

96

renee-young

To say Renee Young has made an impact in WWE in such a short space of time would be an understatement, but it looks as though her hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed by WWE officials.

According to the Wrestling Observer newsletter, the broadcaster – who joined WWE after leaving Canadian network The Score – is earning top marks backstage, especially following her debut on E!, where she hosted the Total Divas reunion show on Sunday night.

Since joining WWE in March, Renee has been given more and more to do, which is a sign WWE is happy with her work.

Over the past six months she’s done backstage interviews, hosted DVDs and international recap shows, and recently joined the broadcast booth at NXT.

As well as praise from WWE, her genuine interest in wrestling and knowledge of the sport, not to mention her bubbly personality, has won over fans.

Keep up the good work, Renee!

Is Renee doing a good job?

Your Two Cents: What Should TNA Do to Turn Things Around?

71

Your Two Cents is our interactive feature where we ask for the opinions of our Twitter and Facebook followers.

This week, we’re asking this: With rumors swirling that Mickie James has left TNA, but we want to know: what should TNA do to turn things around with the Knockouts? We’ve read your responses on our social media pages and picked some of the best submissions to highlight here on the website. As always, you can join the debate by leaving your comments!

* Ashley Matthew: Right now the only thing they really can do is use the girls they have left more and call up Hannah and Holly Blossom and Lei’D Tapa until they can afford to hire people again, should that opportunity ever occur again for the company, which seems to be in a financial crisis right now.

* @ClydeEDawkins: SIGN MORE KNOCKOUTS! TNA should sign some of the girls who worked Knockouts Knockdown, like Serena or Ivelisse!

* @_EricHolt_: Simple: Dixie Carter needs to take control of HER company instead of allowing others to control every aspect of HER company. TNA belongs to Dixie, and if there are people there that are influencing her to not care about the Knockouts Division, then she needs to fire those people. Also, instead of her blaming the recent Knockout firings on the talent itself (like Chris said), she needs to be honest and admit that the reason why is because of their financial situation. From there, she needs to get TNA’s financial situation together so that she can be able to afford bringing in new girls to add to the Knockouts division, including girls that won’t cost so much and girls that have been waiting years to be a part of a televised wrestling company like TNA or WWE for years while working in the indies.

* @Jaffney_Quinn: Gail Kim keeps telling us to be patient, so even though I’d love for a new girls to come in now, I’m going to trust her word.

* Julian Blackshire: They need to stop the hemorrhaging first, before they can worry about the Knockout division. You must look at the bigger picture.

* Martin Bentley: Call up The Blossom Twins, and source the indies for younger talent who need the experience more than they need the money. No marquee high price names like Mickie, or big indie names until finances improve.

* @miss_chrissi7: Bring up Lei’d Tapa & The Blossoms & hire Mia Yim & Serena from the Knockouts Knockdown PPV.

* Nikolas Dombkowski: I think TNA needs to bring in some fresh faces with diverse wrestling abilities and looks. Personally that’s what TNA so great for me when I first started watching. All the girls were so unique.

* @NoSoUpForHeart: Bring more Knockouts! Or else people will get tired of seeing the same thing over and over with the ones remaining.

* Paul McLoughlin: They need to get rid of dead weight (Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff), call up the Blossom Twins & Tapa. Hire Ivelessie, Serena, Jillian Hall, Melina & Reby Sky. They should try and re-hire Madison Rayne & Cheerleader Melissa/Raisha Saeed.

* Randi Parker: Move to one location, they are wasting too much money traveling, they weren’t ready to go on the road, use the money they save and hire more talent or get fired ones back!

* Stephen Ford: Getting back to a home base would be great for this division especially if the home base is located in Florida. If they do it, there is a great company known as SHINW Wrestling that is full of great talent, some even from TNA and some featured on the Knockouts Knockdown PPV event.. What TNA needs to do is get a working deal done with SHINE to use some of their women like Santana Garrett, Leva Bates, Mia Yim, Jessica Havok… This would also get former Knockouts such as Taeler Hendrix, Awesome Kong, Ivelisse, and Angelina Love back in an Impact Ring… It would be a great cross promotion deal for both companies as TNA could announce that the women are from SHINE Wrestling, while Shine could announce “You can see Santana live Thursday nights on Impact Wrestling” For this to work, TNA needs to remove that clause in the contracts that their wrestlers cannot be filmed for an independent company event…

This to me seems like it would be a right step in working to rebuild what was the most talked about and praised division in TNA… Plus with an increased number you can bring back those all but forgotten Knockouts Tag Team Titles and actually let those have a purpose again, and see about getting some other releases back like Tara to get at least one more veteran knockout in there…

And now we turn it over to you…

What are your two cents on the debate? What should TNA do to turn things around?

Report: Former WWE Diva Returning?

214

mccool_return

Is former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool returning to WWE? That certainly appears to be the rumour!

The Wrestling Observer newsletter reports that Michelle, who recently held a training session with the WWE developmental talent at NXT along with her husband, the Undertaker, is being lined up for a big comeback.

According to the report, Michelle “looks amazing now, better than when she was in the company” and WWE officials think now would be a good time for her to return in the lead-up to WrestleMania 30.

But is Michelle even interested in returning? Well, apparently she was considering it just last year. The first ever Divas Champion reportedly had “serious talks” with the company about a return, but obviously, that didn’t quite happen.

Since leaving the WWE in May 2011, Michelle has become mother to a baby girl and earlier this year, she revealed her new brunette hairdo.

As we’ve seen in the past you can’t keep a retired Diva out of the ring. Could McCool be coming back to set up a match at Wrestlemania? With former tag team partner Layla‘s recent heel turn and McCool’s visit to to the WWE Performance Center, the idea doesn’t seem so far fetched.

Do you want to see Michelle return?

In Video: NXT Divas Train in Slow Motion

The WWE has posted a very cool video on their official YouTube channel, demonstrating the latest technological advancement brought to the WWE Performance Center.

NXT Superstars and Divas are shown training in front of a high definition slow motion camera, which plays back their moves in extreme detail.

Bayley, Emma, Paige, Charlotte and Kendall Skye are seen posing and performing in the awe-inspiring footage.

We also get a look at Kendall’s ring gear, which the ring announcer has yet to debut.

Picture of the Day: Natalya Pays Tribute to a Friend

120

Sad news hit the internet this afternoon when Natalya announced via Twitter that her beloved cat Gismo had passed away.

The feline, who had a constant presence in her tweets and was featured in the latest episode of Total Divas, died from an undisclosed illness.

Natalya tweeted:

Her husband Tyson Kidd also paid tribute to Gismo, tweeting:

Tonight, Natalya posted the above photo of herself with Gismo, captioning it, “No more tears, Gismo. No more pain. You’ll always be my special boy. Proud of you for fighting so hard and for so long. You can never be replaced.”

As a lifelong pet owner, this definitely had me wiping away tears, but I’m glad to see Natalya looking at it in a positive way.

And, at the end of the day, the response on Twitter really says it all: Gismo was very loved.

NXT Promo Class Leaked: Diva Characters Revealed

1

Yesterday, footage from NXT’s “Presentations Skills” class leaked, giving us a peek at characters NXT’s newest Divas are developing.

Alexa Bliss, who previously debuted her Nidia-esque redneck character at an NXT live event, displayed the character in two promos: one that featured fellow developmental Diva Christina Vargas and another with Scott Dawson, who she managed at the live event.

In her promo, Charlotte voiced her frustration at living in the shadow of her famous father Ric Flair and claimed to be the greatest female athlete in the WWE’s past, present or future.

Charlotte also appeared in a promo with Becky Lynch, which demonstrated their comedic abilities as they faced off in a Riverdance battle.

Sasha Banks played a heelish, arrogant character who sang her own praises and name dropped cousin Snoop Dogg.

Devin Taylor appeared only as an interviewer, speaking with Veronica Lane, who was in a pageant queen persona, all smiles and gracious words.

Christina Vargas, who was signed earlier this year but only recently arrived at NXT, displayed a snobby, privileged character in one promo and interviewed a Superstar in another.

Lana expressed her wish to become General Manager Dusty Rhodes‘s personal assistant, recording an audio blog on her iPad that had her displaying a air headed character that liked to use Instagram and tweet with cliche hashtags.

Kendall Skye, who thus far has mostly served as a ring announcer for NXT, recorded a serious promo that had her reflecting on the anniversary of 9/11.

The videos were eventually switched to private and are no longer available for viewing.

All of these reflect works in progress, so obviously none of these character are set in stone. Even so, it’s interesting to see what direction they’re heading in.

Did you see the promos? Which did you like best?

The Divas, as any group of friends would, decided to celebrate with a pretty nifty and delicious looking cake for the two ladies at this week’s SmackDown taping.

Eva Marie posted the photo on her Instagram account, captioning it, “Thank you so much to all the @wwe #Divas for being so sweet and thoughtful tonight. Celebrating mine and the gorgeous @reneeyoungwwe birthdays at #SmackDown.”

Courtney Rush Injured, Bellatrix 7 Card Changed

Bellatrix World Champion Courtney Rush has announced that she has suffered a serious collar bone injury that will keep her out of action for the rest of the year.

Courtney, who won the Bellatrix belt back in March, took to Twitter to break the news. She tweeted:

However, Rush will not be stripped of her title and will instead defend it against Liberty at Bellatrix 8 in March 2014. She will also still attend Bellatrix 7 to scout her future opponent.

Since the news of Rush’s injury broke, Bellatrix have announced changes to their upcoming Bellatrix 7 card, which would have seen Rush defend the belt in the UK for the first time.

Rush was set to defend her World Title against RQW European Champion Liberty, but now, Liberty will defend her own belt against Sammi Baynes instead.

Baynes was originally scheduled to challenge Bellatrix British Champion Erin Angel, so Angel will now defend against Penelope.

These two championship bouts join the other title match already announced, which will see NCW:FF Champion Mercedes Martinez defend the belt outside of North America for the first time against Miss Mina.

Check out the full card below.

* NCW: FF World Championship: Mercedes Martinez (C) vs Miss Mina

* Bellatrix British Championship: Erin Angel (C) vs Penelope

* RQW European Championship: Liberty (C) vs Sammi Baynes

* Non Title Match: SHIMMER Champion Cheerleader Melissa vs Saraya Knight

Raw Redux (September 16th, 2013): Harsh Words, Harsher Actions

345

Last night’s Raw was the final chapter of a weekend novel that saw the Divas compete at Night of Champions, slay on the mid-season finale of Total Divas, and come together to on the after show to talk about what happened and dish the dirt on the final six episodes that start in November!!! The best thing about Raw is that in addition to our Total Divas girls, we got A LOT of goodies from the other women on the roster! Alicia Fox, Aksana, and Layla competed against Naomi, Cameron and Brie Bella. Eva Marie, JoJo and Nikki Bella were at ringside. AJ Lee and Natalya took seats at the commentary booth. Summer Rae totally put to shame every single person who was on Dancing With the Stars last night. But perhaps it was the goddess Stephanie McMahon who put everyone to shame last night…

Let’s get started!!!

First I just want to say how great all of them did! We don’t get a lot of opportunities to see Cameron in the ring and I think she did amazing. Our sassy Funkadactyl has come a long way since her days on Tough Enough and she definitely deserves to have heaps and heaps of praise thrown her way. She was the least likely to make it after Tough Enough, to be honest, but luckily for us Cameron stuck with it, worked her butt off, overcame all the obstacles heaped at her, and has had the best career out of that entire cast. I couldn’t be more happy for her. She gets better everytime she gets a chance to compete and hopefully she continues to work and get better.

That being said, I loved this match and I think it was much better than the actual title match. Multi-Diva tag matches can sometimes be rushed and super sloppy, but this was pretty spot on. It had decent flow, it didn’t seem rushed, and I loved the spot where all the divas hit the ring at the same time. I also love how Brie knocked Naomi out of the way to make sure she got the tag. It was nice for Brie to get the win after getting screwed at Night of Champions.

I don’t think it’s far fetched for me to think that perhaps that sketchy spot at NoC was done on purpose. Brie had Naomi covered forever and the referee just stood there. With the way the McMahons are running things it wouldn’t shock me if they end up using Brie to hurt Daniel Bryan even more. It’s possible and dammit she deserves to be in that storyline. Especially now that it seems like we are going to get Nattie versus AJ.

That stare down was EVERYTHING!! Oh my gosh I LOVED that more than any other part of the match. AJ was so overly smug having retained the night before and Nattie looked flaw free and so classy despite having tapped out the night before. I can’t wait for these two to face one another one-on-one with that title on the line. It’s going to be so so so good.

Speaking of good, Stephanie McMahon redefines the word. Everything she puts her hands on literally turns to gold. We all love her and admire her presence on camera, and last night Stephanie was at her very best. Her segments with Randy Orton and Dusty Rhodes were so brilliantly evil that I can’t even put it into words.

This basically all but secured the fact the McMahons are using Randy as their puppet. They found someone who is desperate for gold and incredibly dangerous. Someone who basically has a history of being a little mentally unstable and they are playing him like a fiddle! I hated it at first to be honest, because Orton pushes usually bore me, but I’m keeping an open mind. Stephanie pushed all the right buttons and Orton absolutely unleashed all his hate and anger on The Miz.

In front of The Miz’s own parents.

Oh man. Randy Orton wasn’t the only one who had to endure Stephanie’s wrath either. The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, who was invited to Raw by Steph, came out to try and get his youngest son’s job back. The absolute low Stephanie stooped too shock me, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy every single evil delicious second of it. The more Big Show cries, the happier I get. What can I say?

When Stephanie handed Dusty that gift card for Bed, Bath, and Beyond I screamed. Theres nothing that is woman won’t do to put herself over as the queen of bitch, and the fact she backs everything up with batting her lashes and making her eyes look so sincere and innocent just leaves me spellbound every single time. Making Dusty pick between his children was nothing short of cruel and hateful. What happened at the end of the segment, was even worse. It was awful watching Dusty get punched in the face by a sobbing Big Show. It was even worse watching Big Show cradle Dusty’s lifeless body. The hateful part of me absolutely relished this segment more than anything I have seen on Raw in years. It was Stephanie at her finest and all I can do as a fan is stand up and applaud. I can also be horrified and disgusted and so anti-McMahon it’s ridiculous but we all know I’m a heel at heart!

My evil heart isn’t totally without feeling. Those girl emotions run rampant every now and then, and they were absolutely sobbing at the cuteness that we got to witness backstage later on in the night.

I know it was simple but it was everything! The hug was so sweet, so tender, and just right for that moment in time. Daniel and Brie are absolutely perfect together and the romantic in me seriously died and went to Heaven over that simple, adorable embrace. WWE, we need more of these moments ASAP! We all know they’re together and we love it, so capitalize and use it!

Raw was soooooo good tonight and trust me, I didn’t forget our Weekly Summer Slay Watch. I totally just gave Summer Rae her own special segment in my Redux, following in the footsteps of the legend Vickie Guerrero. Up until now, Vickie is the only person I ever gave a special focus too. I think Summer is following in great footsteps.

All I want is for Summer and Fandango to be invited to perform on Dancing With the Stars. That, or maybe they can just crash a future episode. Either way, I would be fine. I’m also relieved that they finally got a win! Now, can we please get Fandango into some type of title feud???

I loved Raw tonight and I would be doing all of us a disservice if I didn’t at least mention Paul Heyman kissing Ryback. After all the greatness I’ve provided you with I think it’s only fitting I love you all with that nice little mental imagine. They don’t call me Heel Cryssi for nothing ;)! Until next time… Khaleesi out!!!

Former TNA Knockout Arrested, Charged With DUI

Word has emerged that former TNA Knockout SoCal Val was arrested late last month.

According to PWInsider and Orange County arrest records, Val – real name Paige Mayo – was arrested in Orlando, Florida on August 31st and charged with DUI and “leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.”

PWInsider also reports that Val was released the same day after posting $600 bail and was later “cited and charged with failing to yield to oncoming traffic when making a left turn from that incident.” Her mug shot can be seen above.

Val, who was released by TNA a week before the incident, was scheduled to be brought before a judge today, but the arraignment has been cancelled and not yet rescheduled.

‘Total Divas’ Mid-Season Finale Ratings: 1.03 Million Viewers

80

The mid-season finale of Total Divas didn’t prompt a spike in the ratings, drawing 1.03 million viewers on Sunday night according to TV by the Numbers.

This is down from last week’s 1.09 rating, which itself was the lowest rated episode of the season. The episode did retain the 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is definitely a positive.

Another positive? The viewers stuck around for the After Party, which drew 939,000 viewers and another 0.5 in the demo.

Like last week’s episode, these decreased numbers can be attributed to the lack of a Keeping Up With the Kardashians lead-in and a packed NFL Sunday night. In addition to that competition, of course, was the final hour of WWE’s Night of Champions Pay-Per-View.

It isn’t a triumphant way to end the season, but it does give E! some options to consider when building the schedule for Total Divas‘s return in November, comparing the early season successes to these last two disappointing weeks.
