Nia Jax will require surgery on both knees

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE superstar Nia Jax will miss an extended amount of time due to major knee injuries.

Jax suffered an ACL tear in both of her knees. The injuries will require surgery and a lengthy time off to recuperate. Typically, an ACL tear can take anywhere from six months to a year after surgery to heal and rehabilitate.

Jax alluded to the unfortunate situation on Twitter. Earlier today, she posted a selfie with the caption, “I’ll be gone for a while, here’s something to remember me by.”

Later, she posted a proper update. There’s no word on when Jax sustained the injuries, but she stated she has been “pushing through the pain for the last year.” This could explain why she and Tamina disappeared toward the end of the fatal four-way on Sunday.

The former RAW Women’s Champion has been featured prominently on TV since her debut. She won the title last year at WrestleMania 34 and carried it all the way through to Money in the Bank.

Most recently, Jax formed a tag team with Tamina. The two challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on three separate occasions.

Hopefully, her surgery goes well. We here at Diva Dirt would like to wish Nia Jax a swift recovery.
