Nia Jax provided an update for her in-ring return when she posted a video on her Instagram account showing her running the ropes at the WWE Performance Center with the comment “Testing out the new knees!”
Jax has been out of action since April when she tore both of her ACLs. The recovery time for such an injury usually takes around 9 to 12 months so this update is extremely positive and could mean her in-ring return is right around the corner.
We last saw Nia in action at WrestleMania 35 where she took part in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match with Tamina vs The IIconics, Sasha Banks and Bayley, and Beth Phoenix and Natalya. So it would be great to Nia return before then.
A surprise entrant at the Royal Rumble would make a perfect return for Jax. A big pop, beat up and throw out a few opponents, reassert her dominance and get back to kicking some ass. Her return in 2020 would definitely give either of the RAW or SmackDown rosters something to think about.
Due to the injury, Jax wasn’t included in the most recent draft so it is unknown which brand she would be a part of upon her return.
