During a momentous Wrestlemania 33John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella after four years of being together. The segment was one of the biggest highlights of the night, and came right after their win against The Miz and Maryse.

Last night Nikki celebrated her victory and she seems to be all smiles:

Unfortunately for Bella, her time with WWE is coming to a short halt as she’ll be taking time off to heal from an injury.

The longest reigning Divas champion took to her Twitter to say the following:

“This isn’t goodbye, just need time to heal. When the day is right I will be back and hopefully then…. BRIE MODE will be ACTIVATED!… Can’t wait for the day I can lace up my kicks throw on my jersey put on my SnapBack & come back home. Until then..Stay Fearless Bella Army!”

The tweets can be seen below:

Despite being injured, Bella will still remain very active. On top of healing her neck, Nikki will be serving as an Executive Producer for ‘Total Divas’ as well as continuing to be the star and Executive Producer of ‘Total Bellas’ (alongside her twin sister Brie Bella).

Prior to this news, Nikki has earned the (now retired) Divas championship twice, wrestled at multiple Wrestlemania pay-per-views (whilst winning her first match last Sunday), was the first WWE Superstar (alongside Brie) to win a Teen Choice Award, starred in ‘Total Divas’ as well as its spinoff ‘Total Bellas’, amongst many more accomplishments.

If Nikki were to call it quits for good, there’s no doubt that she’ll be appearing in the Hall of Fame alongside her sister, but we look forward to seeing her return and wish her all the luck in the world as he heals.

Although we will miss the former 2x Divas champion, we’ll be able to see her this Wednesday at Total Divas will return on the E! Network for the second half of season six!
