As announced on tonight’s premiere of NXT 3, this season will last 12 weeks. As previously reported, Syfy is set to drop the show after October 1st when SmackDown debuts on the network, so it’s unknown where the remaining 7 episodes will air as including tonight’s premiere, Syfy will only air 5 episodes.
NXT on Syfy schedule
Tuesday, September 7th at 10pm (season premiere)
Tuesday, September 14th at 10pm
Tuesday, September 21st at 10pm
Tuesday, September 28th at 11pm (one hour time shift)
Friday, October 1st at 7pm (last episode on Syfy)
Additionally, Matt Striker announced that the first elimination of season three will take place in four weeks time (either Sept. 28th or Oct. 1st).
As for the identity of new Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn, who replaces Aloisia as Vickie Guerrero‘s rookie, she is Ricki Vaughn in FCW. Kaitlyn reported to WWE developmental on July 12th meaning she has about 6-7 weeks of experience. It’ll be interesting to see how she’s used in matches considering she has so little in-ring experience.
