It has been announced during tonight’s SmackDown that an upcoming Triple Threat match for RAW is scheduled to take place. This match will determine the number one contender to Asuka‘s RAW Women’s Championship.
Asuka recently became RAW Women’s Champion unbeknownst to her as she actually won it when she grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase. Becky Lynch had to relinquish the title due to her pregnancy announcement which was the reasoning behind the decision. Since then we did have a glimpse of Nia Jax being the potential next challenger to the title.
Jax interrupted Asuka’s celebratory event presented by Kairi Sane on this past week’s RAW. She seemed to think that she will be the next RAW Women’s Champion. She made some bold statements that she would defeat Asuka and do just that.
It may not be that easy as Jax is rumored to be in this upcoming match. According to what is being advertised she will be facing Natalya and NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
Nattie has had her hands busy lately with Shayna Baszler and Flair has been busy visiting each show. So could this mean that Jax will be the victor?
