Last night we witnessed history as NWA put on their first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view Empowerrr.
It was a splendid event with many incredible moments all of which you can read here.
The history-making moments and matches continue tonight at NWA 73. We will see Mickie James step inside the ring for the first time since January.
The winner of the inaugural NWA Women’s Invitational, Chelsea Green challenges for NWA World Women’s Championship for the first time in her career.
Let’s get to the preview and predictions:
Mickie James vs Kylie Rae
This first-time match is very exciting. Both wrestlers are highly skilled and undoubtedly have a point to prove. James returns to the ring with a huge chip on her shoulder after her last WWE run. The multi-time champion was massively underutilized and will want to show the world what she is capable of in the ring. While Kylie Rae will want to prove she has what it takes to hold up against a legend such as James.
Prediction:
John: Mickie James’ return to the ring will be a triumphant one and she will get her first singles victory since defeating Lana on RAW a whole year ago.
Nick: I would be surprised if Mickie were to lose here. With Kylie not picking up the win at EmPowerrr I wouldn’t see her going over on Mickie in this case, but maybe I am wrong and she puts over the rising talent? I am still going to go with Mickie.
Kamille vs Chelsea Green – NWA World Women’s Championship
In her NWA debut, Chelsea Green won the Women’s Invitational Trophy and the shot at Kamille’s title. Green has a tonne of momentum behind her right as she making the most of her post-WWE career.
Kamille is a great champion and has all the strength, power, and threat to back it up.
John: Kamille is amazing but Chelsea Green is on a great roll at the moment. Going for the big upset and Green capturing the historic title.
Nick: Chelsea may be on a roll and making the most of her time since WWE, but I can’t see Kamille losing here. Kamille retains.
