NWA is rumoured to be planning an all-female pay-per-view. According to Fightful the historic promotion are working on the show and will announce it later this year.
The report also states that August 28, could be the date of the event but the National Wrestling Alliance are yet to confirm.
The news comes after the promotion strengthened their women’s division with the signing of Kylie Rae. Plus Kamille brought the NWA Women’s World Championship home when she defeated Serena Deeb at When Our Shadows Fall.
The pay-per-view also featured the in-ring returns of Melina and Taryn Terrell alongside the vital and formidable, Thunder Rosa.
With moves like these, the company are re-building their women’s division. But if they wish to put on an all-women show they must continue to do so and WWE may have given them all the ammunition they need.
The release of superstars such as Mickie James, who was pictured backstage at NWA recently, has strong links to the promotion. Santana Garrett worked for the company previously while Chelsea Green, The IIconics and Ruby Riott are must gets for any promotion.
Regulars of Thunder Rosa’s all-female promotion, Mission Pro Wrestling, have been seen on NWA recently. Wrestlers such as JENNACIDE and Alex Gracia both appeared in matches against Kamille.
NWA have a plethora of talent from which to choose, but time will tell. We will continue to update you on this exciting prospect.
