NWA has been making waves in the world of women’s wrestling as of late. Their first-ever all-women’s PPV EmPowerrr takes place next week and features several top names.
Now according to reports, the promotion was in talks with Tessa Blanchard about working together over the summer.
According to Fightful Select sources within the company revealed that recent talks took place between the company and the former IMPACT! Wrestling World Champion. However, the talks are now said to be have been tabled.
Blanchard left IMPACT! last year in a controversial fashion after the company terminated her contract.
The problems emerged after travel complications caused by the pandemic, resulted in her failing to appear to defend the title.
Since leaving IMPACT! Blanchard has only wrestled once. Last September she lost the Warrior Women’s Championship to Kylie Rae.
