NWA Women’s World Title on the line at Hard Times

NWA announced that Thunder Rosa will be challenging Allysin Kay for NWA Women’s World Title at Hard Times this Friday.

Since Rosa debuted on NWA Powerrr last October, she has been a thorn in the side of Kay. Rosa got inside the head of Kay’s friend, Marti Bell, who then turned heel by assisting Rosa in a vicious beat down on the champion. Rosa and Bell would form a trio with Melina when she interfered in their tag match against Kay and Vox.

Things would heat up at the Into The Fire PPV in December when Melina and Bell were to face Kay and Vox in a tag match but Rosa would viciously attack Vox severely injuring her arm and removing her from the match in the process. ODB would make a surprise debut and aid Kay in defeating Melina and Bell.

The trios of Rosa, Melina and Bell would continue to with Kay, ODB and Vox in an array of singles clashes, which has led to Rosa challenging Kay for the NWA Women’s World Title.

Kay has been a solid and strong champion so far and would continue to add legitimacy to the title with a lengthy reign. However, Thunder Rosa has been one of NWA Powerrr’s most consistently exciting performers both in and out of the ring and NWA would be wise to capitalize on her momentum. Whatever the outcome this promises to be a very exciting and competitive match up.

What do you make of the match up and do you think we see a new NWA Women’s World champion come Friday? Let us know below and stay tuned to Diva Dirt for the full report of the match.
