It has been announced that Thunder Rosa will be defending her NWA World Women’s Title on next week’s AEW Dynamite. Her opponent will be Ivelisse which will be no small feat to overcome. Coming off of her win along with Diamante in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament, Ivelisse is riding high.
Rosa was just featured on AEW when she challenged Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Title at All Out. She wasn’t able to capture Shida’s title to make herself a double champion, but the two did have a memorable match. Now it will be Rosa’s title that will be on the line that she has held since January.
Ivelisse is no stranger to gold. She is currently the SHINE Women’s Champion.
Rosa will also be defending her title at Mission Pro Wrestling against Lindsay Snow on Sept. 18.
