Tonight’s NXT is the last show before their big two-night TakeOver event next week. Stand & Deliver currently has only one women’s match over the two-night show that will see the NXT Women’s Title on the line. The champion Io Shirai got what she asked for and will be facing Raquel Gonzalez. They will take to the ring on Night One of the TakeOver event on April 7 and be in the main event.
What will we see from the two tonight leading into this big match next week?
What is being advertised for tonight is the debut of Tian Sha in the ring together as they take on Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. The last we saw of this storyline, Catanzaro was helping Carter escape after causing a disqualification in her match against Xia Li. It is believed that this will be the debut of the Mei Ying character which is highly rumored to be Karen Q.
As of now, there is just the NXT Women’s Title on the line for next week’s show. Since it is two-nights there should hopefully a second match will be added and perhaps for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.
