This week’s NXT has two women’s match set and ready to go.
First, as was revealed yesterday on social media, Sarray has found herself an opponent. Since arriving in WWE and on the NXT brand, Sarray has been undefeated. She is actively looking for competition and she wanted Toni Storm. Storm declined the offer saying that she was too good to take on the newcomer. Another woman, however, doesn’t feel that she is too good for Sarray and that is Gigi Dolin.
This will be Dolin’s first singles match since joining the NXT brand earlier this year. She has had two tag team matches since signing and the fans have been chomping at the bit to see Dolin in action.
The second match set is one between wo women who are no strangers to each other but always tear it down in the ring. Ember Moon will be facing Dakota Kai. Moon doesn’t seem to be done with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Kai stands in her way. She is now a singles competitor after her tag team partner, Shotzi Blackheart (now just Shotzi) has moved to the SmackDown brand along with Tegan Nox.
Last week at The Great American Bash, The Way (Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell) lost their NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. The new champions are now Io Shirai and Zoey Stark. What will come from these two teams one week removed from that incredible match?
