With all this talk of the WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts competing to outshine one another, we seem to be forgetting another group of women who apparently stole the show last night.
WWE Hall of Famers on Twitter are all abuzz about the Divas of developmental territory, NXT, today.
As reported, the fledgling promotion crowned its first NXT Women’s Champion at its TV tapings at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, last night and the final match in the championship tournament earned glowing praise from WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes.
He tweeted:
#nxt Paige and Emma was off hook last nite !! great night to all at full sail last nite !

And Emma and new champ Paige weren’t the only talented women to tangle it up in the ring. Last night marked the TV debut of Charlotte — daughter of a certain Nature Boy, who happened to be in attendance for his little girl’s big night.
He wrote:
So proud of you Wink! @MsCharlotteWWE pic.twitter.com/wkEUqeKr5Z

Proud pops Ric Flair‘s sentiments were echoed by Hall of Fame broadcaster Jim Ross, who touted Charlotte’s athleticism.
He responded:
“@RicFlairNatrBoy: So proud of you Wink! @MsCharlotteWWE pic.twitter.com/y4lbXSWIHf” Helluva athlete. Impressive debut. Wish I'd called it!

Looks like NXT is on the right track when it comes to producing future stars if these words of praise are anything to go by!
