A name that has had several pitches in the past as a call-up to the main roster is currently listed once again as a potential call-up. Former multi-time champion in NXT, Raquel Gonzalez seems to be expected by most within NXT to move on from the brand and onto either Raw or SmackDown according to Fightful Select.
Gonzalez recently recaptured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships on Saturday at Stand & Deliver. This would be her second time holding this gold with Dakota Kai but much like the first time, it didn’t last long.
The duo dropped the titles back to Toxic Attraction on Tuesday. Kai will be facing Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Title on April 12. Gonzalez is also a former NXT Women’s Champion who held the gold for just over 200-days.
Gonzalez had worked previous dark matches for the main roster where she defeated Toni Storm in October and with Io Shirai in February.
