NXT Superstar Abbey Laith, aka Princess Kimber Lee, opened up about yesterday’s announcement of her release from NXT today.
Though the company or the star wasn’t forthcoming with the reasons for her departure she did say she enjoyed her time in NXT and looks forward to the next chapter:

Additionally she announced her first set of Independent appearances, with a homecoming set up for her at her home promotion, Chikara, next month. Beyond Wrestling will be partnering with the promotion to make it happen.

In 2015 she became the first woman in Chikara history, and in a non-female promotion, to hold the Grand Championship.
She’ll also be appearing for AAW Wrestling in April.
