Tonight at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, a new NXT Women’s Champion was crowned.
The undefeated Asuka retained her perfect record by defeating the resilient Bayley, claiming the victory with the Asuka Lock.
Bayley, ever the fighting champion, refused to tap out, and eventually passed out in the hold, forcing the referee to call the match.

This exchange followed a match full of fast-paced action, kicks and submissions pushing both women to their limits. In the end, though, it was Asuka’s speed and relentlessness that won out, earning her the honor of becoming the fifth NXT Women’s Champion.
