It’s that time again for another TakeOver event and this one like most will see two women’s matches on the card. This will be the second In Your House since the theme returned to WWE last year for the first time since the year 1999.
First we will see Xia Li representing Tian Sha as she faces Mercedes Martinez. Martinez is still looking to get back into the title picture after failing to capture the gold from current champion Raquel Gonzalez. Li has had resentment for Martinez backing back to her loss against her in the Mae Young Classic. Can Li get her retribution or will Martinez come out with a win here?
The second match is for the NXT Women’s Championship. Gonzalez is defending against Ember Moon. Moon has had to go it along against Gonzalez and Dakota Kai ever since her tag team partner, Shotzi Blackheart, was taken out a number of weeks ago. Can Moon become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion or will Gonzalez’s reign continue with Dakota Kai by her side?

Although not scheduled for tonight’s event, the tag team champions sat down with the rest of The Way to speak with Alicia Taylor and McKenzie Mitchell. Taylor and Mitchell tried to get to the bottom of InDex when it comes to Poppy giving Dexter Lumis a hug last week.
